Doyle should be being pushed at every opportunity,which,given the current situation and indifferent form of our senior options,should be now.

Pep could have very easily introduced him on Wed evening,especially as Rodri was hampered with a caution.This season,more than any other,is perfect to experiment and utilise our academy talents.

Whatever happened to Gomes? I remember being excited when he played for some friendlies.

Gomes is back with the EDS,he went out on loan and there have been injuries.

He looked very steady in a mauling of Leicester,just basically sitting in front of the defence and keeping things simple.Obviously he currently has no where near the quality/experience,but in both style and physicality/appearance he resembles Kante.

Hopefully he can push on,although id say hes some way down the pecking order.

Doyle should play more but not as a 6, that ruins his effectiveness at getting forward & turns him into mini Rodri, passing sideways.

He's a dynamic player who needs to be let loose. He would win much more 2nd ball too.

Seen him on tv playing 6 quite a few times & he just looks like any other kid, nothing special. As soon as he's allowed to move, he starts to become a Gerrard style player again & looks a real talent all round the pitch.

He looks like the perfect player to bring through, to balance v our slowcoaches, but we rarely see him.

He should tell Pep Barca are after him, then he'll play in place of Aguero.

Forgetting the City stuff, he has the mentality you want to see in every academy player. Only thing that's missing there is experience and I hope we're the ones who give him that.
