Indeed. What @aguerooooo said. They do also investigative reporting along with front line correspondence. Eg. The Tara Reade story which they worked on for months before being unable to confirm the details she offered. Can’t accuse them of not trying or covering anything up. Once they threw up their hands the story went to zero almost instantly.
