Some of us still holding our breath from a week ago on your promise to address my points on fishing.

Now we can hold our breath again for the secret negotiations logic to be revealed. Dan Brown could write this.
You can hold your breath for a very long time - as I try to avoid posting where it means interacting with you

And yet again you twist the words of others

I said that I would respond to another poster - most certainly not you

But you didn't respond to that poster - who'd asked what was flawed in what I'd said.

But you know that.

1632 - Canute - the water laps round his ankles but cannot acknowledge the error
Canute isn't an insult as you assume

"In fact, a 12th-century record shows Canute to be a far wiser man than legend suggests. Far from believing he could control the tides, Canute’s objective was much more logical. He was trying to demonstrate to his courtiers that secular force is futile in comparison with God’s supreme powers"

The hilariousness of it all as though anybody is under any illusions that we lost the Brexit vote. Seems to be a bit of denial from the other side about how well the leaving process is going and how easy it is to do a deal.
If only that were true, we have been hearing for nigh on 5 years that if you add up all the losers it means they’re the winners.

I think some are are going to lose their shit whatever happens given they cant even get their heads around the basic facts. John Redwood the other day saying the majority of people think no deal is the best out come.

Reality is that 50% of people think we were wrong to vote to leave the EU and only 38% now thing we were right to vote to leave.

Wouldn't be a bad idea for our media to start holding politicians to account like that more often. Doesn't need to descend into shouting, just a clear clarification that what they've said is a lie.
