Couldn’t have a bigger incompetent whistling wanker than Pawson although most of them would run him close.

Subs: Steffen, Ake, Stones, Zinchenko, Mahrez, Bernardo, Foden.
 
Won’t be the end of the world if we draw but a defeat is a serious dent into our season. You can say there’s plenty of games left but we saw last season if you let them build up momentum they’ll be out of sight before we can react.

We need to win this to claw back the points, to dent their confidence, to show them we’re still coming for them and to show other teams they’re nothing special and are vulnerable at the back. Can’t expect other teams to take points from them if we can’t do the same.

Just don’t want Pep to change our game with a mad big brained plan as they rarely go as expected. We can impose our game on to them, we can deal with their press now and with the back 4 I suggested we should be able to handle balls into the box, they’re their two biggest threats. it also probably helps us more with no crowd even though it’s at home

After that Ake or Cancelo left back, Rodri or Gundogan holding, Bernado or Gundogan the other no.8 & then in attack. Mahrez, Foden or Bernado right, Torres or Jesus central, what dilemmas for Pep to have, feeling confident about Sunday as have belief that Dias & Laporte give us a solid foundation to build on & allow the midfield & forwards to play with more freedom.
 
Whatever it takes, we must win. No excuses, no slow half arsed shit. Get after the scouse bastards right from the start, close them down, get in their faces and harangue the ref for every decision the whole game. Full on, no prisoners, do not accept defeat to these snidy, whining scouse pricks.
And improve our bloody finishing!
 
Probably the most important game so far, it is a must win. We need to be defensively sharp and offensively clinical. I think we are the better side and we will play the better game but we need some clinical finishes.

Their 5-0 win tonight is perfect ... gives them no excuses for the weekend ... the whole media narrative would still be oh no VVD and the defence is shit blah blah blah and they’re the underdogs this weekend ... to put out excuses up front in case they take another tonking from us as they seem to have in recent times at the Etihad ... 5-0 and 4-0 ... actually their record at Etihad has been more pathetic than ours at Anfield in recent times so let’s dish one more out ... and in the process show the rest of the league how they can be got at this season ... Villa did show them up but since then they’ve recovered even though VVD got out after that one ... time to send a reminder to the rest on how to take points off them.
 
Nearly every game we lose to the Dippers the officials have an influence ,if we get the rub of the green with decisions we are better than the Dippers , no contest. For all the talented players on the pitch on Sunday i fear the officials and VAR will decide the game , and that doesnt usually end well for us when we play these red tw*ts.
The only way we win is if we put 4 or 5 goals on them , although our defence with Dias and Laporte is looking strong we will have to be aware of their penalty area diving squad , if Vardy and Leicester can win three penalties in 90 minutes then the Dippers and VAR can match it.
