I stayed off the turnpike when I drove to Pittsburgh from Washington DC. Pittsburgh isn't that industrialised these days compared to what it used to be. It's very like Manchester in many ways, having come back strongly from post-industrial decline. Also very friendly people who love their sport.
When Simon & Garfunkel toured England and introduced the song America, Paul Simon mentioned hitch-hiking from Saginaw to Pittsburgh as like hitching from Grimsby to Birmingham.

Definitely agree with the comparisons to Manchester. Glad to hear they are continuing to bounce back - just counted in my head and realized I haven't been back in nearly 10 years! I'll have to change that once COVID is all over.

And yes, I would *not* want to cross a diehard Steelers fan, that's for sure.

Nothing good will come of this press conference.

It will be his twitter feed without the notifications saying he's lying.

He'll go full nuclear and try and get his base to storm the voting centres.
