A disgrace that A Taste Of Honey didnt make the top 100
I doubt Morrissey would have had any of this 100. A Taste of Honey would have been in it though.

Great list. One or two im suprised to see on a bluemoon list, one or two that should be nowhere near any great film list and one or two that have been voted for because they are recent and still fresh in ones memory.
But overall about 95 of those films are worthy of the list. Would be interesting to know which films had 3 or more votes but missed the cut, and how many votes Carry on Camping had.
Good work BH.
That and Honey were in my top 10I had Saturday Night and Sunday Morning , thought the kitchen sink genre needed representing .
Don‘t let the bastards grind you down!
Donald Trump will be hiring him to look at polling fraud....Out of my top 20, very surprised the following didn’t make top 100
Grease, Whiplash, Shrek and the Pianist.
Well done @BlueHammer85 again. Methinks you might have made a rod for your own back now you’re the recognised organiser of official Bluemoon poles...sorry Polls.
I had it my top 10.very surprised the following didn’t make top 100
Whiplash
I had Get Carter too.The Godfather is a worthy winner, its just a great film with a great cast, a great story, some great characters and is loaded with some great and memorable scenes. I had it at number two and did not have its sequels as I did not want to over represent the "gangster genre" in my 20. I am sure 99% on here have seen it so any kind of review is a waste of time.
Bluehammer has again surpassed himself with this thread and deserves all credit/kudos that comes his way...... I doff my cap sir.
I managed 13 from my list so overall am pleased, although some of them pick themselves really, there is an eclectic mix in the 100 although maybe a lack of romcom or family dramas which has been noted by some already.
Would you take the hundred as the only films you could ever watch again? there are plenty of brilliant films in there, but loads that are not that you would miss too I fear. That just highlights how films can be connected to moods or phases in our lives, and association to those films can be different for different people.
Biggest surprise for getting in off my list was Capricorn One, I love that film but thought n one else did.........biggest "upset" was The Exorcist not getting in as I thought it was top 40 at least.
My failures list and position in my list:-
19)Bridge over the River Kwai
16) Dances With Wolves
10) American Werewolf in London
9) Spartacus
8) The Exoacist
7) Last of the Mohicans
4) Get Carter (Michael Caine)
Again, thanks to Bluehammer and all who took part in making this one of the best threads on here recently.
