Liverpool (H) - Post-Match Thread

Well at least we didn't lose but that game was there for the taking. We looked frightened to take them on and that is a worry. We do look tougher to break down but we go forward so slowly. Early in the season I know but just ten goals is a pitiful return for the squad we have. Raheem looked not bothered today and we rely too heavily on Kev to produce big moments. Anyway onwards and upwards - At least Jesus looks good and as I say the defence is very solid.

A game we should have won really. We had the better chances but otherwise fairly even. Poor reffing for their goal and any 50:50 decision went in their favour.

A bit disappointed that we din't win with the chances we had but at least we didn't lose. I think Guardiola thought the same today and he was a bit spineless to be honest. The game was there for the taking 2nd half but he seemed happy with a draw.

KDB and Sterling quite out of form. Gundogan good first half has his passing was off 2nd. Rodrigo did what Rodrigo does and Torres was a bit quiet but did a few good things. Cancelo had a decent game I thought as did both CBs. Jesus looked lively enough but should have made more of his chances.

This game pretty much summed up our season so far. Defence looks better but attack has lost a lot of its fluency.

Thought Cancelo, Dias, and Laporte played very well. Eddie as well, and Gabby obviously took the goal well. Everyone else was pretty meh.

Draw was a fair result. We were just to wasteful and sloppy to make anything count.

Meh. Pffffffff. A bit shit. Kevs pen cost us points in the end, and Walker for that dumb penalty against us. Both stupid mistakes.

Oh well it wasn't as bad as I feared before the game. But still, should have bagged all 3 points.

Shocking game, played for a draw, sterling's a serial choker, they'd never get away with that shite withe a crowd in, there's not a tackle in that midfield, fuckin bored me to death

Our back 4 is excellent now.
They looked knackered after 30 mins
We didn't create enough in the 2nd half.
Torres on the left for Sterling is the move. Bernardo on the right. I think Sterling has been bad for weeks.
We missed Mahraz....nah just joking.

We are a shadow of the team we were two years ago. A game there for the taking but at this level you can't miss a penalty and a sitter and expect to win. To be honest after the first 20 minutes I would have been happy with a draw I feared a drubbing. Win our game in hand we are in the mix but by God we need to improve 70% to win the title.

Team and Pep were more than happy with this shit draw. Too bad, they were there for taking and we did not push on in second half to put pressure on their fragile defence.

Aston Villa went at them relentlessly and scored 7.

Missing the pen is really a regular theme for us, please stay after training to practice it.

Last year this fixture was a 4-0 win for City, 2 points less this season, 1 point plus for them. And we hardly did test Allison.
When we go to Anfield I wonder they will be so soft and happy with a draw against us as we were against them.

Sterling, KDB, Torres absolute shit game they had, Walker too. They should raise their game in games like this.

Chelsea, United, Spurs all won, they might as well be very happy with this 1-1 result now.

Spurs-City after the break, dont know what to expect from Pep in a big away game (first this season) if this is what happened a big home game. Maybe another "happy" draw?
Well we lost that fixture last season, so a draw would be an improvement.

Feels like a loss.

I’m gutted with how it’s all going with this team & management.

pep needs Arteta back or something to get him energised
