I think come the end of the season, the Jose's band of Spurs will be challenging for the title more than the Dijk-less Kloppties ... if we’re still there or there abouts come the business end ...

For starters, I just want all our players to come back from the internationals with no injuries and perhaps after having played the least minutes and getting some good rest over these next two weeks.

Kane, Son and Bale will be a nightmare to play against. We're still struggling to find any consistent form. But you never know with Spuds as they have a tendency to bottle it.

mane,salah,jota and firminho are a bigger nightmare and they are in the laundry basket after our defence put them in their pockets and forgot to take them out.
 
I expect us to play well in this one. Just got to avoid the usual Mourinho/Tottenham mugging off.

It won’t be them running at us I’d be worried about ... it’d be the shut up shop at the back classic Mourinho tactics trying to nick a 1-0 that’d frustrate us ... and they’re sitting in a very good position ...

We need to start putting together a string of wins now ... 3 draws and 1 loss in first 7 is already way too many points dropped.
 
Gonna take probably 20 or so less points to win the league this year which gives us a chance, but there's a big drop off in our attack which means we'll draw more games. Uncertain right now tbh.

A draw would do.
it’s back to a more normal season when the achievement should be to draw the away games against other challengers and win all others with the side that manages to upgrade some of those away draws to wins the winners.

a draw against the top 8 away would give 7 points. Wins against the other 12, 36 points. Total 43 points.

at home aim should be to win all. 57 points. Total 100 points.

of course it doesn’t work like that and more points are normally dropped

Yeah. I'm hoping their form has been inflated by playing largely weaker sides, including United. A bit like Everton. They've left it late a couple of games lately too.

Unfortunately, it's always the worst to be the first in a team's gauntlet of bad games because their heads wouldn't have dropped yet. Still, if we can survive that then I reckon come Boxing Day we'll be in a strong position.

Tottenham aren't playing well, I know they are second but they are scrapping their way through certain games.
They were poor today, Poor against Burnley but won both 1-0, Brighton were possibly the better side against them but won 2-1, Dropped a 3 goal lead against West Ham, Beaten by Everton and drew with Newcastle.

They are their to be got at, We can definitely go there and turn these cunts over.
