Jack Grealish

I mean if you're going purely on the last 10 or so games then yes I guess that last statement might be true especially in sterling's case otherwise there is almost nothing to back that statement up.
Obviously i disagree,Grealish consistently delivers,he's incredibly reliable in his ability and contribution.Sterling has always been the opposite,he can be brilliant but more frequently he fails to deliver - its the most frustrating aspect of his game.

Grealish isn't perfect,but he's a more complete player.

I said it last season when I was watching him quite alot that he would be a brilliant signing, and I think the fee would have been more reasonable then.

I just don't see us getting him for anything reasonable now, it's too late imo.

But if I had the choice, Mahrez out, Grealish in. Oh and Douglas Luiz to replace Dinho next season also.

Everyone keeps talking about grealish, where does he play in our team. Southgate and dean smith don’t see him as a midfielder but rather as a winger. He is exactly like how mahrez was at leicester where he was given the freedom to play how he wants but we know that he can’t be that in our team and you also can’t compare the space he gets to express himself in that villa team to what he would get here as a winger.

If he was a midfielder then I think he would be very good for us but his managers see him as a winger

Left back,Grealish and a striker next summer and we walk the league and have a brilliant chance of the champions league.

I'd say a fast/energetic defensive midfielder, Grealish and a striker (Haaland or Son) and we definitely would. I think Cancelo can be our permanent left back.

Sterling RW, ditch Mahrez. Grealish LW.

The space concept doesn't really work, constantly plays against better teams and batters them.

His ball control, dribbling, and chance creation would help us against parked busses also.

Wait are you saying grealish is better than mahrez at leicester because that is very false. Mahrez definitely has better ball control bribbling and chance creation. And I don’t know what you are talking about space, are you trying to tell me villas opponents park the bus every week surrounding him with 3 players. You can’t tell me grealish is more technical than mahrez. I feel Mahrez should be sold but there is nothing that you can tell me grealish has over leicester mahrez.

I am comparing grealish and leicester mahrez because they are similar. They are/were both given freedom in their teams to perform their magic because they are very good technical and skillful players.

like I have said before grealish is a perfect technical player that I would love in our team if he played as a midfielder but not a winger. For wingers I feel we need to go back to quick and direct wingers.

very good player although not what we need at the moment we have enough attacking midfielders already. need to spend those funds on a striker.

I wondered if he could do the David Silva role, now I'm convinced. He controls games, has great energy and an eye for goal.

Other than Auoar he'd be my number one target.
Totally agree with this. Everyone can see how predictable we have come and stopping De Bruyne seems to be the plan. Put this lad alongside him and one of Gungodan and Rodri and the threat and energy and we would sort our major issue out.

Isn’t that what we have Foden for?

Buy Grealish and he’ll be on the bench while Gundogan takes his place as well.
