Whilst it's their defenders getting injured, I think they'll be OK. They still have experienced heads to help them through. Theyll still score more than the opposition 9/10 times. I think if Salah or mane were to get injured, they'd be fucked.

Their cycle is over. Klopp has run the players into the ground.

Everyone here was expecting this.

Personally I thought it would have happened last season but somehow they managed to survive 3 seasons playing virtually the same 11 every game. Yes they threw the domestic cups to play less games but none the less 3 seasons without significant 2 month+ injuries was incredibly lucky even more so considering their “heavy metal” football.

I can’t see them winning anything significant this season.
You may be right, and hopefully you are. There's much to be agreed with within your post.

But I'd just wait until they really start to have issues and struggles before we write them off. As you have said we've all expected them to drop at some point for a long time now and they've kept on winning through. At this stage we can't rule out them pulling off this kind of shit again, as much as it wouldn't make sense for them to.

I wouldn't get over excited just yet.

Let's see how they cope before we make statements like their cycle is over.

These cunts will still score a lot of goals and will definitely get a lot of VAR sympathy.

My sentiments exactly. Throw in dodgy refs and other teams rolling over and these twats are far from finished.

Didn't the exact same thing happen in Dortmund? Going from challenging for the league, to completely run into the ground and Klopp resigning by the end of the season.
He actually resigned earlier but stayed the whole season. Under his management they went from relegation spot to 7th. They ended the season flying. Squad and club in a good shape when he left.

I wonder if they've put vats of their magic juice underneath their secret training lair?

They score goals for fun, no matter how shite their defence is they always score 2,3,4 goals when it matters.

we don’t no more sadly

Muff diving springs to mind.
...And that reminds me, I have to pop into Muff to get some diesel later....

...Whilst obviously disappointed by the Gomez news, combined with the TAA and prior Fabinho/VVD/Thiago problems, it's funny but I always try and take a some small positive from a situation.
It could bring about the development of Phillips/Williams and if we keep up with the pace then will give a real sense of satisfaction at doing something without the stablished players at the back.

It was obviously an odd season last year and this has continued into this season. The results have been crazy and have added something, certainly adding nerves and doubts where there was previous confidence.

I have said it before, that there was almost as great if not greater excitement in the season we were runners up to City, than there was last season, all down to the twists and turns and uncertainty. Well I reckon, and almost hope that we have that again this season. If, and it is a very big IF, Liverpool can keep going it will make this an exciting season

'Their cycle is over. Klopp has run the players into the ground.'

Happened at Leicester too and it's taken them a few years to recover from. Hopefully, Klopp will do one, and it will take the better part of a decade for them to get back 'at it'.
Hope you're right and not just wishful thinking. I'm not sure.
