One or two cules might not be happy about it .
Indeed.
It will without doubt be laughed off as an impossible nonsense rumour. And in some ways, fair enough.
But still, it will get entertaining if this link refuses to go away.

Exactly what I was thinking. We're in zero debt and have made a small profit 5 seasons on the trot. We spend what we can afford and have a structured wage plan in place, we've invested in the youth setup and that's starting to show results. As a cup 1/2 full man i get to see a utd team with unmanageable debts, unaffordable wage bill with a team at least 9 top class players off being anywhere near competitive with rules put in place by them that now stop them from buying their way out of trouble with short term investment.
Hence the rumoured emergence of a Euro super league with a handful of "founder members" who will demand the lions share of funding and huge upfront tv rights.Exactly what I was thinking. I know which setup looks more sustainable.
Then stop believing what you read in the press, even better buy yourself a coffee.Personally I wouldnt care if he never wears a City shirt again. He’s an ok player but not great. Dias and Laporte should be the quality we are aiming for and imo Garcia isnt close to that level.
The only thing that pisses me off (if you believe what you read in the press) is that in the last window we could have got £15/18m for him. In January it may be £7m.
Whoever it was in City’s management team that did the maths and figured out we were better off keeping him rather than take £18m needs a kick up the arse.
Pep, Barcelona and the Spanish National team manager all see something in him.One of the worst Centre backs I have ever seen for City , he would not get in a decent championship he ticks all the boxes you do not want in a centre half .
Tea my friend. Coffee is for foreigners and pretentious yuppie types. Then stop believing what you read in the press, even better buy yourself a coffee.

I'm not too sure what it is but time will tell.
Garcia is in the position he is now because Pep took a chance on him, it hasn't worked out so far but Pep is too stubborn to give up on his project.
He certainly is not up to Champions league standard but that's where he ended up at the end of last season.
Without Laporte or a Dias beside him it just isn't going to work.
Yeah , cannot believe we did not take £18 million euros for him , I be happy just to get shut of him for free but if we did get a fee it would be robbery on our behalf
Might strengthen our hand with Messi ;)Pique has gone off with what looks like a very nasty knee injury.
As much as I felt we were silly (and still somewhat do) for not letting Garcia go, I bet Barca are kicking themselves even more that they didn't just cough up the extra few million we were asking for. Their CB situation is bleak.
You'd have to imagine they'll try and sign Garcia no matter what in Jan if Pique's out for a large chunk of time, which could play in our favour in terms of getting a decent fee with 6 months left.
Sways it our way hopefully.Pique out for 4 to 6 months means barca need a CB could we do the swap deal

You guys are insane if you actually think Barcelona is doing a Messi for Garcia swap deal.Sways it our way hopefully.
