I don't know much about PCR testing TBH, but it's just the most obvious bollocks that 97% of positives are false, or that any significant proportion are down to historical RNA fragments. The profile over time of positives is totally incompatible with such a hypothesis. Not to mention that hospitalisations and deaths lag positives.

Why people post such patent nonsense is beyond me.

Wk to wk the numbers are: 3537 v 3246 v 2688 v 1790 * v 2502.

That does not look promising but the * indicates that figure is underreported as Wales had tests get diverted astray and It is likely the real number will be several hundred up from that on the day. Nobody knows for sure. It will still be lower than today as a 3 nation total probably but not by quite as much.

As it makes it illegal to travel out of their area both to other parts of Scotland and to England and the other two nations. Not requested. Mandatory. But how can you make that work?

The Dominic Cummings 'essential travel' opt out is there so I guess that is how. But its surely well nigh impossible to police.

well it was from a reputable source the exact number doesnt matter as if a lot of nhs nurses arent vaccinated covid will spread through the health system. Therefore lockdowns will have to continue there is no choice. it is why i believe we are a long way off getting back to normal even with a vaccine

For example 50m tested positive today in the UK and the army is on the streets to ensure nobody leaves their homes for the next two weeks. Well out of over 5500000 recorded positive tests and likely almost a billion actual positives, there have been about 5 suggestions of reinfection, so probably not. Also, if he’s going to self isolate, why bother with the test (testing‘s the way out of lockdown, remember).
