I didn't think he was that bad yesterday. But he's just not at the level. His lack of pace is criminal and he's too aggressive in his press. He pushes up too high and leaves space in behind.

He's been here long enough now and he hasn't got to grips with the system. He's fine against cloggers, but in a high paced technical game he's not at the level. He might be better with a partner in a pivot, but is he worth changing the system for?

He’s not but I doubt we will cut our losses with him,not for the price we paid. He was a terrible piece of business. Did we actually watch him play before we signed him...

I never saw him prior to the signing, was your assumption based on seeing him play in a Diego simeone Atl. Madrid - who set up completely different to a pep side ?

Busquets at his peak was 10x the player rodri is. It's unfortunate but whoever thought going from a mobile dm like fernandinho to him really needs questioning including pep. When even gundogan seems more mobile and capable than you, there's a big problem

87mins in...kane runs the ball down the wing as fast as he can.... and Rodri plods after him and the you can see caught by the camera rodri looking up in the air as if to say fuck this and gives up the chase

It isn't just his pace it is his overall game. I started watching him yesterday to see what he was doing and offering and it was shocking.

The guy is a limp squid....looks good when others cover for him and dig him out

Rodri is kinda symbolic of our struggles; brilliant ball retention and general distribution, poor at stop transitions, slow and a lack of penetration on the ball.
