RIP Great footballer but he'll always be remembered as a cheating c*** for me
Don’t know whether true or not, but I did hear reports (maybe excuses) saying that’s what got him hooked originally, on pain killers. He used to have 2 injections before every game so he could play because his ankles were kicked to pieces
Great great player. Brilliant player and a nice bloke. What a load of bollocks, he cheated and that is it at the end of the day, it wasn't an England player so that is irrelevant really.
Ask an Irishman how they feel about Henry.
Thierry (spit!) is a lovely man.You do if you're speaking to an Irish person.
When they say drug and alcohol abuse takes years off your life they ain't lying
that goes for everyone mateThe ultimate price is not to have lived at all. We’ve all got to go sometime.
All the ones calling him a cheat seem to have got selective amnesia about Michael Owen against the Argies. Is Maradona considered a cheat worldwide, or is it just in England? And if so, I imagine the failed drug test also has something to do with it. Drug bans tend to follow you around a bit more because it's premeditated, whereas cheating in the heat of the moment is something all players do every now and then.
The man was a football genius and when it was announced that he had passed away it made me very sad indeed, fantastic player, all be it very flawled. RIP Diego.
Why? Does one wipe the other clean? All the ones calling him a cheat seem to have got selective amnesia about Michael Owen against the Argies.
Messi and Maradona for me the greatest two players of all time.Absolutely spot on Dave! He was the type of footballer that made people like me and you fall in love with the game.
