Scotland data:

34 deaths - which is down and like England is always high on Tuesday with weekend catch up.

754 Cases at 7.3^ positive. Looks like the catch up of cases is now resolved hopefully.

1021 patients (down 20) the steady fall continues here.

Ventilator beds 70 (down 5) similar promising news.

Scotland 3 wks v 2 wks v last wk v today

Deaths 39 v 37 v 41 v 34 today - as you see though still high that is the lowest in past month.

Cases 832 v 1248 v 776 v 754 today

Patients 1239 v 1249 v 1197 v 1021 - very hopeful decline in numbers here

Ventiated 102 v 95 v 84 v 70 - is an even better very clear decline in these numbers week to week.

Some positive signs for Scotland, hope it continues. % positive down from last weeks 8.6% and the week prior 9.7% as well. Be nice to see that figure regularly under the 5% again as I believe that's the figure which the WHO determine whether a country has control of its epidemic or otherwise.

Northern Ireland data:

15 deaths - this is high as there are 8 back audited from some time ago.

12 F / 3 M - 12 of them in care homes - most of them the catch up numbers added. 12 aged over 80.

391 cases at 15% positive.

7 day running total 2523 up second day running from 2505.

Age ranges: 0 - 19 (410) 20 - 39 (698), 40 - 59 (771) 60 - 79 (415) 80 + (229)

419 Patients

29 on ventilators

Care Home outbreaks 128 - down 3 from yesterday.

Northern Ireland 3 wks v 2 wks v last wk v today

Deaths 11 v 9 v 11 v 15 today

Cases 514 v 549 v (79)* missing cases v 391 today

7 day total 3736 v 3724 v 2452 v 2523 today - N Ireland is starting to show just the hint of concern.

Patients 420 v 449 v 445 v 419 today - good sign numbers still falling

Ventilated 39 v 35 v 29 v 29 today - not rising at least.

The 350 England hospital deaths by date:

30 Nov adds 37 = 37 after 1 day (Last wk 54 added)

29 Nov adds 166 = 193 after 2 days (Last wk 162 added = 201)

28 Nov adds 79 = 223 after 3 days (Last wk 68 added = 172)

27 Nov adds 34 = 223 after 4 days (Last wk 41 added = 243)

26 Nov adds 13 = 257 after 5 days (Last wk 15 added = 267)

Note how no references to new records or highest numbers since - always a good sign numbers are not getting worse.

Also that 3 of the 5 add ons were lower than last week and 4 of the 5 resulting total numbers were lower is even better news that we might be seeing a plateau. But with more catch up tomorrow we should see what happens.

Notable add ons to earlier dates: 25 Nov adds 4 = 296, 24 Nov adds 5 = 292, 22 Nov rises by 1 to 307, 9 Nov rises by 1 to 303. And the current highest single day of 18 Nov rises by 1 to 316.

For comparison the last time there were 316 deaths in England hospitals assigned to one date was 29 April but that date has not gone backwards for a couple of weeks now.

Which is possibly the best sign of a stall.

Had sumat similar recently where the conclusion was basically 'what do you want me to do?'. Not in a dismissive way. Just a genuine question. I had to say well id like to find out what's wrong. Can I have a scan or something? Was baffled though
I mentioned on here last week that the Mrs was diagnosed with an issue three years ago. Doctors just fobbed her off and it’s got worse.
Told her to arrange a private consultation and now I’m sat outside the hospital whilst it’s being fixed.
Had we have waited much longer there’s nothing could be done.

My doctors have been the other way, can get an appointment the same day, I’ve had a X-ray, ultrasound and CT scan all within a few days, luck of the draw I guess.

So total UK deaths today is 422. With out of hospital (o o h) for England to be added (big catch up there usually too)

It was 426 last week (so it has fallen) . But sadly that became 608 when the England out of hospital numbers were added.

But the actual number assigned to the day before - that is the date the number last Tuesday was 'assigned' to - is actually only 411.

3 wks v 2 wks v last wk v today the UK deaths (without England o o h) is: 371 v 410 v 426 v 422 today.

That is definitely a hopeful track.

The three nations cases today (without England) total is 1612.

A week to week is meaningless as two of the three Tuesday data were impacted by low numbers caused by testing issues.

Such as we fear might have happened yesterday.

We will see very soon I expect.

Everything feels very plateau-y right now based off all the figures. Is that a fair assessment?

Cases v pillar 1 & 2 tests last 4 days

Monday 196, 938 = 13, 430 cases today

Sunday 193, 828 = 12 330 cases

Saturday 283, 963 = 12, 155 cases

Friday 305, 348 = 15, 871 cases

So not quite as big a swing in cases and tests as last week. But it obviously has some impact on numbers.
