Considering he has refused a renewal thus far, that's more than a stretch. Moreover, I see no scenario where Messi goes to Paris to play

When did Neymar refuse a renewal?
His agent in August this year.

To give more context Neymar was asked about Messi's contract situation (he would be free to join any club next summer). Neymar said he wants to play with Messi . Doesn't matter where "in ground" ( meaning which position in pitch ,he will make space for messi)

You sound a bit naive. Interestingly Laporta was interviewed this morning about his campaign and asked to weigh in on Neymar's comments and he deferred, saying he didn't want to destabilize the team

His agents say he wants to extend . Recent reports are saying player has approached the club for extension. You want to act like a know it all.
Clarification on yesterday's statement

Translation: "Important nuance. When Neymar speaks of “anywhere”, it would be on the pitch, and not the club. The translation is not perfect #MUPSG"

The world doesn't revolve around barca and laporta.

Agreed, who did they start with at Old Toilet last night. Their centre forward/striker was that Everton goal machine Moise Keane. Really?, he wouldn't get a game with my dogs in the garden. PSG didn't look up to much imo.
 
Barca are looking to save themselves 1015m by getting Garcia on a free

Barca are potentially sacrifficing anywhere between 50-100m by refusing to sell Messi who doesnt want to be there.....and thats before you get to th wages he will cost them between the start of this season and when he leaves (if he does)

Now of course Garcia will play for many years beyond Messi whereever he does end up so it cold be argued that they are getting thre money back this way and of course they could sell him on......the counter argument to that is the fact whether Garcia is good enough plus the loss of revenue through sponsorship that Messi brings in

Laporta’s quote taken out of context. He was directly asked if there is any positive aspect of Messi leaving:

With more context, it's even more damning IMO - him saying they'll offer an 'attractive proposal' but can't compete other than that.
