The Guardian where Comment is free but hypocrisy is sacred.
Free only if you support any of the vermilion vermin clubs, indulge on Islamophobia disguised as bantz; or celebrate the apartheid israel crimes against humanity while crying wolf of antisemitism when these are exposed. Otherwise a ban is applied immediately.

Its the eagerness to "advertise" our opponents grievances with us that annoys me, is it really article worthy.

I suspect that if porto had sung our praises, it would be nowwhere near the bbc footy page.

I also suspect that the reference to Bernado and racism outlined within the newsletter is deflective, given the current position of one of their red darlings.

I admit to not liking the bbc though, so I am not as understanding as it seems some are re their articles.
I know where you’re coming from but you have to choose your battles and your hill.
If City had ignored it then fair enough, but the fact the club for once actually decided to respond to hysterical defamatory nonsense head-on makes it fair game for wider reporting and discussion tbh. Agenda-driven moral crooks like Stone, Roan and the BBC’s ex-MUTV troll factory in Saford Quays have written much worse about us in the past

I've been avoiding the BBC (online and morning news show) for months now but I thought I'd go and have a look at this.

Sorry, but if you find offence in that factual report then you need to stop reading any media at all and try to stop being so angry. As for 'deflection', when exactly were they supposed to report it as it only happened in the last couple of days?

I should have put your last bit in my post as I’ve no love for them either they usually do have sly digs at us when they can,but as I say see nothing wrong with this piece Blue eyes ...

Ok guys ,its no biggie, and we all have our own views, but I still think if it was positive toward us then it would not get any space.

The fact City had responded means its case closed and not really newsworthy imo.

The "deflection" bit refers to them printing old news in Bernados racism case given the current cavani situation.

You are right, I shouldnt read it, but I have to help pay for it so what the hell, I dont find it "offensive" that is too strong an emotion. I do find it topical enough to post on here though, and get others opinions, whether its likes or replies such as you guys.

So I will carry on, you will just have to pull me up again when you think fit :)

Interesting little article in daily mail about cavanis racist remark that it was nearly similar to the Silva non event last year with his best mate & only bantz that got Silva a 1 match ban. No mention of anything " international " or the fact that Silva also got fined 50,000 quid. Seems like they will settle for only a 1 match ban & under the carpet we go !

The c*** who wrote that article is Ben Nagle. Assistant Sports Editor @MailSport, Palace fan. Email: ben.nagle@mailonline.co.uk

In fact, if you look at all the stats from the article, Pep beats Klopp hands down. But Nagle and the Daily Liverpool have to keep on blowing smoke up Klopps and Liverpool’s arse. Remember, Nagle is the Assistant Sports Editor at the moment. If he get’s promoted, he will continue the Hacking FC narrative and love in at the Daily Liverpool.

Tucked away further down Nagel’s article.

*He is bettered only by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola (2.22 PPG)*

Was listening to the radio about this the other day that was saying there was new FA rules about this and a "3 match ban" is the absolute minimum. However they were saying both the Bernardo Silva case and the Saurez/Evra case took about 3-4 months before the investigation and appeals were resolved, and it was likely to be a similar timescale before his punishment was enforced.
(I suspect the rags will wait for a run of easy games or an injury before they manipulate his ban to take effect.)

It is truly amazing how the British press/media use the second best to sell their article. Most other countries would use the best not the second best to push their story. Most of the press/media are utter twats
