Watched a David Attenborough program on Netflix and showed how gushing can be brought back up by stopping fishing in certain areas from a coast line it allows them to breed a d grow and provides enough fish for everyone
That already happens. Herring spawning grounds in the Western Isles have some protection.

Local scallop fishermen respect the season.

But there's a case to extend it.

Don’t forget to come back when we start to see the actual benefits of Brexit. Could be a while though
We'd be here 'til ragnarok trying to 'explain' said benefits, but your EU sycophancy would blind you to any, so it isn't worth trying.

A fact many of us have already realised years ago. It's funnier now just reading the bile, emotional outrage, faux anger and bile you all come out with. :)

Haha! You'll be back on it like a tramp on chips the second you get chance to tell everyone they lost so deal with it.
And you'll be around just waitin' for us all to reappear, won'tcha! :P

Believe me, it's not faux.

But I guess that's even funnier.

I know the damage to our democracy many of you where willing to commit just to get your own way so more than happy to see brexit happen regardless because that's the choice we made.

@mat if only this last 4 years you had let us own it. The sooner you realise you no longer do the better ;-)

Well I read the thread quite often but hardly post in it as nobody is saying fuck all different to what they were 2 years ago.
I'm quite content to still be part of the EU.

Usual reminder that parties supporting staying in the EU or at least having another referendum won most votes in the 2019 election.
Also worth reminding people that many people voted as I did - for the Labour Party - on the basis that in a future referendum if Labour won I would still vote leave.

Its feintly ridiculous to believe that every Labour voter was a remainder at heart, and equally daft to believe that every tory voter was a leaver at heart.

Leave v remain was not then, isn't now, and never ever will be, a left v right argument. The greatest lie remain ever told was that you can only be a true Labour voter if you want to remain.

The greatest PM we never had, Tony Benn, would spin in his grave at the way this lie has been allowed to flourish.

And I am quite content to be severing those ties.

Everybody's happy!

Yeah.....the issue is you constantly thinking you won and can dictate.

Go figure!

It's like Jeremy Kyle sometimes. "My wife doesn't understand the benefits of herpes."

I’m more open minded about this than you might like to think and if there is a demonstrable benefit I’m happy to hear it. So far we’ve spent a lot making the case for and preparing for Brexit but once the ledger moves back into profit I’m sure it will all seem worthwhile.

Well done for the false accusation of EU sycophancy, not taking your cue from anyone in particular there are you?

Everything is now seen as the rightous left Vs the evil right unfortunately.

Still it given them the opportunity to slag Trump and his cronies off for wanting to ignore democracy on one thread whilst spending the last 4 years behaving the exact same way as him and them on another.

Meanwhile.the vast majority of us go about our daily lives not giving a fuck what either of the two sides think or want.

Has Irish democracy been damaged by a second vote?

Don't forget both Rees-Mogg and Liar Johnson had each suggested that option (Johnson as a cynical ploy that with a No vote we could negotiate a better deal to Remain).
