I think we all knew deep down Pep was always going to go very strong, it’s what he always does. Personally wanted to see Doyle in there with a strong team from the start to see how he performs rather than a 30 minute cameo when the games over as a contest but Pep knows best. god help him if there’s an injury tonight though.

Wait for what opportunity? When are they going to get that? This is the most dead rubber fixture of the season.

Zero excuse for players like Mahrez and Gundogan to be playing - they are two of our core first team players and get plenty of minutes.

Perfect opportunity for Doyle and Palmer to be playing in their place.

Walker is one of the least surprising in that lineup. He’s had plenty of rest of late, they need to be kept ticking over to maintain peak performance, a light workout in a meaningless game before the Derby should get him fully up to speed nicely.

No reason for him to be playing Gundogan considering he'll be playing at weekend, should of just put Doyle in there
