This is the same as the Laporte situation. When Pep benches them suddenly their form has been down or even abysmal in some eyes. Pure revisionism. Same with Phil not playing the last 6 league games, now he’s back to being a kid who should be grateful for games in cup games until he’s 24.
Your interpretation of counter-argument is incomparable.

That’s what happens when you jump in on others conversations.

You can dress up the Aguero situation as much as Dom if you like but I’ll say it as I see it under my own username if it’s all the same to you.
"That’s what happens when you jump in on others conversations." This is page 68 of an open Forum where any member can "jump in" whenever they choose as long as they stay within Forum rules. Neither Domalino nor I have inside information on "Aguero's situation" or any player's private medical "situation" , I don't believe you have either so you are free to state your opinion like every member, on this Forum.

Do you mean the season without him or the season without him, Laporte, Mendy, Aguero and others?
So, he was benched for not following instructions?
Mendy lol we got 198 points without Mendy or did you not notice that?

Like I said get some better eyes.

Not following instructions doesn't mean he wasn't playing well, it means he wasn't running around aimlessly like Pep likes them to do.

Do you remember that Brasilian we signed that looked exciting cutting in from the left wing with skill, dribbling etc, now he is a hard working pressing forward.

We have lost a huge talent in Sane if you can't see or understand that then this conversation is over as I won't be arguing back and forth with you about it, I have seen your previous efforts with other posters.

Life is too short and the match is on shortly.

Enjoy it.

A talent that doesn't want to stay and isn't putting it in is not someone to keep, in my view.

Still, enjoy the game.

Sigh

Cause and effect, don't treat an attacking winger like a workhorse left back and he might have wanted to stay.

Nobody knows what was said behind doors, he was playing okay in mine and other peoples eyes, he was never going to run up down the wing tracking back all day long but he tracked back 100 times better than Mahrez ever has and still had an end product far more reliable to boot.

We made a **** of ourselves by allowing him to get to the point of having his head turned, he is German, his girlfriend is German and she wanted to go back home and his mother also, some times things just happen.

If he was 100% happy he might have still stayed here, he was far too talented for us to let go.

Sane doesn’t work hard enough so here’s Mahrez every week instead. Pep.

Time will tell. I think he is a phenomenal talent, a potential worldy, but I don't yet know whether he has the application to turn that into a genuine world-class player. I certainly wish him well and I wish he had wanted to stay but he didn't and, in my view, stopped putting it into the same extent, becoming unproductive in his latter months.

Don't you will make me cry real tears :(

Mahrez a good player on his day, Sane a kick of the nuts off world class and still young.

Fair enough, I still think it is on Pep myself, he won't be the first player to piss off and he won't be the last.

With Pep, you have to follow his remit or there is nothing down for you. I suspect Sane is one of those players who won't toe the line. Nothing especially wrong with that but Pep isn't the manager for you if that's your way; neither were Zlatan, Ronaldinho and several others.

He lost the ball in dangerous positions a few times and struggled to find space after the first 10 minutes. He has to learn to improve both of these aspects of his game as when he gets the ball in space he’s very dangerous.

Bernardo too. POTY in our last title, wouldn't have won in without him, all of a sudden Pep benches him the next season and people are saying it's justified.

Messing around, playing constant mind games with players is easily one of Pep's worst traits for me.

A gem of a player, sure, but no player is permanently in top form.

A two year dip is a little long though don't you think?
Yes. I don't buy the mind games argument, whatsoever. I don't know why he was benched but I suspect he was exhausted - he worked his socks off that year and it's hard to keep going to the well. I think that's a major reason why last season was such a problem for us: not just the physical injuries but also the mental fatigue of what we had needed to do in the previous two years.

I think, like Pep, I am willing Bernardo to rediscover his best form.

I find when players are fucked about, played out of position, dropped after great performances and left on the bench while less gifted players are picked, form usually goes out of the window.
It has been terrible hasn't it!
Seriously, nobody can play 70 games a year.
