I'll be gutted if we play into their hands like we did with Spurs and Leicester. We have to accept that if a half decent team decides to play on the counter and are happy to take a draw, we can't just leave ourselves open. We need to be more savvy in these games. We are as good as anybody on the counter, in fact we're pretty devastating when we break. If we have to take our time drawing them into our half then so be it. We can play that game too and we can do it better than them.

When we win the ball so high there is little space to play in. We lose it and they break against us. Patience is the key today. We are a team in transition and not yet ready to steam roll decent teams

I honestly don't know why he doesn't do it more often with the counter attacking sides and our unreliable left back options.

Puts cancelo on the right with less defending and we have a robust last defense with walker sitting deeper to sweep up.

Only problem is IIRC Bernardo Silva sat next to rodri offering energy and legs in midfield.... Which it doesn't look like he has either at the moment.

I love Estrella. I ordered 40 large bottles of it from Tesco and fella turned up yesterday with only 24. He said I’d cleared the shelves.
