We need an upgrade in the front three positions. Unfortunately none are good enough on current form. Great in defense again but never really threatened.

How were we "let off" exactly ? Rashford was offside, and the "foul" was Walker kicking the underside of his boot.

We should seriously hire the throw in coach Liverpool made a big deal about working with last year. Ours are awful and I saw a stat they scored 12 goals from throw ins after working with that guy which was more than the rest of the league combined.


Sounds stupid but it clearly had a big impact.

It is a mystery what has happened with Sterling. He had a great start to last season, form dipped around November and then returned to form post lockdown lifting his goal count, when everything was decided, and against a lot of the weaker sides. This year he has been very poor.

Every game he seems to play within himself, recycling the ball inside, rather than making things happen and this is amplified against the better sides.

It would be interesting to see a breakdown of his goals and who he scored them against. Great players like Aguero score them in the biggest of matches, in derbies, against Liverpool, Chelsea, Cup finals, title deciders etc. Not sure he has ever stepped up consistently in this way.

To be honest in 5 of our last 9 big games against the “top 6” sides we have failed to score at all!

We need a match winner in the side. Aguero is a match winner. None of these forward lot are. Sign Messi and it’s problem solved.

unfortunately had to watch the game on sky sports. What a farce the post match analysis was. Great point for UTD but poor by city. I thought UTD were the biggest greatest club in the world? Why are Keane and the rat slagging off city? They’ve spent more money then anyone and have such a wonderful DNA? Why has the expectations for them dropped so low?

The way we currently play in the PL is to not concede whilst only creating a few clear chances. Problem with that strategy is like today the one really good chance fell to FFS who for some reason took three touches before shooting straight at De Gea. It was a lovely move with a top early pass from Kev - all that was required was one touch to set, and get a shot away early across the keeper - Mahrez took two extra touches which put things in the keepers favour. Cost us dearly. Only bright thing is that is now 6 games without conceding but we need to replace our wide men and play those on form - Phil and Torres, wink wink Pep!

There are many things to be concerned about with this team and I am yet to be convinced that we will win anything this year.

Sorry mate,what I meant was If Rashford was 1mm onside and Walker would have fouled him like he did we would have lost and yet again Utd bumble thro out of nothing....I cannot understand why Leipzig, Spurs,can blow these twats away and we struggle....

The only derby more boring than this one in the past 10 years was one where Mancini was manager. And we were at home that day.

It’s strange, I’m finding myself agreeing with some of the negative comments. Some of you have valid points. We didn’t play well, we lacked pace but we DID try to win the game. There was a spell in that second half where we really turned up the heat but without Sergio and Phil we didn’t have the quality to open them up. We also have to face the fact that the rags were very solid in defence today. It was a classic derby stalemate with the keepers hardly tested but it could’ve been different with one or two subs made.

you can look like your giving it 100% but really you are just going through the motions
am saying as a striker you need to be sniffing out chances and finding that space between the 2 defenders
he did once in the game and should have scored by turning a half chance into a goal but put it over the bar

jesus does turn off and it looks like walking pace at times even the pressing is he giving it 100% ? is he willing to take the ball in his face ? for me jesus would be better off playing with another forward in a pair or just of a striker

Completely agree. Not enough for these players to keep filling there boots against the Burnley’s of this world.

Would it have mattered? Playing the ball short on most occasions. I don't get it, We have a big side, Stones, Dias, Laporte, Rodri and still go short.

Just a question for you, how would you have felt if we played our normal game and said fuck it, we are not scared of you, we would beat you?
But fernandes played a ball over the top from the halfway line and rashford was left 1v1 vs Ederson and scored.
United are not that good but you can’t act like they are not very deadly from counter situations. We have to respect that part of their game and limit their counters.

I am also disappointed cause I feel this was a must win game.
