I respect your view but I'm afraid I can't change mine. They had some good players but, to me, they are the team that invented cheating (at least in England). Allan Clark was a despicable diver, Hunter a total thug (as was Giles). They might have won more if they had played honestly.While Leeds had their share of hard men they were a bloody great side who never received their due from the media. Leeds commited the sin of not being the rags and like our side of that era was ignored. The sixty nine seventy season they could have won the treble and finished up with nothing. Like ourselves a decade later against Spurs , Leeds carried the hopes of the north into the cup against Chelsea the best final I can remember ultimately losing to the joy of the London media sound familiar. Will always remember the Leeds side of my youth, just sorry they often beat us.
Brian Clough famously told Revie that his achievements were cheapened because of the way his teams played. Clough told the Leeds players their medals were worthless. I'm with Clough.
Clough won two European Cups with Forest (with less resources)...that's two more than Leeds.
