Implementing existing rules that apply to all non-members that don’t have an agreement in place? Wasn’t difficult to work out.
Yep. End of conversation.

I don’t wish to get in a tit for tat argument and clog up the thread, I’m not in the business of trying to score points.
The first article just said that people have been turned away from UC, despite being below the poverty line.
The last point was the key one, as it was a general point about how difficult it was for those at the bottom and those on UC and minimum wage jobs, with it being sole destroying or words to that effect.
I don’t know if the poster in question is on minimum wage but he certainly cannot afford to go away.
With that many people struggling in the country I am just calling for a bit of consistency in our approach to supporting the less well off and some sensitivity towards them, even if people disagree with us.
I know you haven’t said this but another poster admitted the poor were fair game for mocking if they disagreed with him, I am sure you’ll agree that’s unacceptable and the opinion should be separate to someone’s financial situation.
You think they’re idiots because they don’t agree with your political stance.Incorrect. I said idiots were fair game. Poor and stupid, rich and stupid. I discriminate on stupidity not means.
Indeed - I am increasingly thinking that, unless the EU make significant concessions, a clean break is bestA distraction for sure.
There should be legislation which will ban ships like this as soon as possible.

‘Supertrawlers’ use in UK marine protected areas up by over 1,000% in three years
None of these ships – which can store thousands of tonnes of fish – are British ownedwww.independent.co.uk

You think they’re idiots because they don’t agree with your political stance.
You think your political stance, despite your immigration policy being right on the fringe of what everyone else thinks, is righteous and everyone else is thick.
This approach is actually holding your politics back, if we want a Labour government in 2024 we shouldn’t be attacking others who wanted Brexit and voted Tory for that sole reason. You have to find common ground, build a bridge and show them why a vote in that direction will be beneficial to them.
Scoffing at them and calling them stupid is going to make the country vote against what you want, time and time again.
Yes there may be the odd person who’s entrenched and wouldn’t move position no matter your approach but there’s millions of votes up for grabs and calling people stupid isn’t going to get them.
A Brexit voter may just have totally different ideas of what’s important to them than you, it doesn’t mean those ideas are lesser. There’s a whole left wing leave movement for example, are they thick as well?

No, because they will destroy our waters like they've done to their own.why? Because none of them are British?
No, because they will destroy our waters like they've done to their own.
Let’s just say that those you’ve had a go at are idiots, I don’t think personally that Jordan Peterson is one, even if he’s wrong on some things, which I think he is, he’s still a man comfortably above average intelligence. His lectures on Christianity are sublime for example. I also don’t think MB is an idiot, I don’t know the man but he doesn’t say anything that outlandish and he’s a brexiteer that is on the other side of the spectrum to Farage and the ERG mob, with him wanting EFTA.No. I think they are idiots because they are idiots. Not all idiots disagree with my political stance and not all non-idiots agree with my political stance. You for an example, are not an idiot. On some things I think you are correct, on others wrong, sometimes horribly wrong, but you are not an idiot.
My stance on immigration, I presume you mean Freedom of Movement, enjoys majority popular support in Europe.
I am not interested in swaying people to my view. I do not care whether they agree with me or not, and I am not here looking to persuade people. You cannot persuade an idiot, who, by definition can only believe idiocy, therefore there is no point.
The left wing leave movement is even thicker, or more deluded, than the right wing leave movement.
Finally, and I’ve said this before, people can take what I say too literally, sometimes I’m just having a bit of fun.
*cough* Northern Ireland, internal customs border, EU personnel overseeing customs in NI ports, the NI protocols, carriers in UK no longer recognising NI as UK territory, GB to NI deliveries now listed as ‘international’.
By clean break, I assume you mean via amputating a leg.

The Irish situation is certainly a stumbling block but it needn’t last forever.

But let’s say they are idiots, hypothetically, it’s still not appropriate to attack their weakest points because they’re an intelligence level below what’s acceptable to you, if anything, you should be kinder to those not as clever as you are.
Regarding FOM, I thought your position was no borders anywhere globally, apologies if that isn’t the case. I am pro immigration, pro refugees and totally disagree with those on the fringe right,
I just think we need to limit the numbers but while keeping it fair. The new Tory points system is actually great, it’s similar to Canada, Aus, NZ etc. and it’s a totally non racist, non discriminatory, fair approach.
What's that supposed to mean? Sounds like you're suggesting Eire and Northern Ireland should unify?
That seems to have gone straight over your headwhy? Because none of them are British?
Sob.....Its down to the owners in their home countries/ports as to what size of vessel they sail. We can't tell them what they should do. Its about their sovereignty.
That would be down to the good people of Ireland surely?
This isn't an answer to my question.
Anyone would thing from these last few posts that MB is a poor defenceless child who needs to be looked after. He dishes out a lot more than he gets and whines when he gets it back. Some people showed their true colours with MB and have been doing some mental gymnastics ever since.
