Premier League Games 26/27 December

Just 5 points separating 2nd and 9th. If Liverpool can slow down, then we are looking at 9 teams capable of challenging.
Now you've offended the Dipper Sycophant Fraternity.

"There will be no slowing down Klopp's beautiful red army, they are de best team of all time, ynwa la" <Shudders>

Great goal Saka, 100% meant it. Arsenal have looked decent last couple of games despite results. I lumped on them to win this but covered it with a draw.

I know Rodri isn't the most popular right now, but for me Jorginho is easily worse. We dodged a bullet on that one. Only professional athlete I've ever seen that I honestly believe I could beat in a foot race.

Could be anybody. That's the point. Teams are dropping unexpected points
I was hoping someone would have the confidence to say that we will thrash them when we next meet them but understandably all responses so far are just hopes that someone else might cause them to drop points and we will get closer to them.

Love Peo, but how anyone could think was was a good replacement for Fern is deluded in the extreme !

For me there is plenty to like about Rodri and I think sooner or later, he will start to use his physical attributes to his advantage more effectively, in a very physical league. He's a big unit that should be winning most of his duels. He's just not Fernandinho though and I don't think he will ever be the type of player that can do two players jobs. We really dropped the ball by not challenging Chelsea for the Kante transfer, seems the closest player to him and we'd possibly have prolonged Fernandinho's career by doing so too.

Fabinho seems to have turned out alright but it did seem to take him ages to bed in, so who knows how it would have gone at City. Plus Liverpool had £400m in Couthinho bonds to spend, so we'd probably have been outbid.

They're 8 points ahead of us. We could win every single game left this season (including Anfield) and we'd still need them to drop points elsewhere
