DUP...not a huge shock given we sold out NI and our Union.

‘When Parliament is recalled on Wed we will vote against this agreement. We will do so as a point of principle and not because we supported a no deal option. A free trade deal is better than no deal but for NI this deal does not undo the detrimental aspects of the Protocol.‘

Ulster has been just disregarded by this administration

Yes, unlike May's govt of course which bribed them into forming a govt and gave a party like the DUP the casting vote. I take your point tbh re NI, but let's not pretend upsetting the DUP is necessarily a bad thing.

Upsetting the delicate balance of N.Ireland is always likely to be a bad thing . A balance it took many years and sacrifices to achieve.

Stupid fuckers. The MPs vote down a deal then Boris can play the victim card to the fullest.

How many MP's do the SNP and lib Dems have? I'm sort of assuming they carry the all the weight of a slightly fractious student protest, especially if kieth whips labour to vote it through.

If it gathers enough momentum to stop it going through, every MP that voted against it wants stringing up at the Tower of London.

(not really, I’m kidding of course, but it’ll be very very bad).

MP's don't give two fucks about their constituents as long as they get their political ideology across, IMO of course.

The only way it cannot go through is if 40 Tory MPs vote against it.

Even JRM is supporting it as he only wants a day for the debate and vote.

It may well be down to Keith to get it through. 30 odd Tories expected to vote against it. SNP have 48, DUP 8, Lib Dems 11.

For it not to pass, it would need Labour to vote against it (and enough Tory rebels).

Yes they are voting against knowing they can, whether they would if they thought it would lead to no deal is immaterial.

SKY News reporting it will not be ratified by the EU parliament until the end of March 2021 - they want time to scrutinize the deal and make sure we are sticking to the letter and the sentiment of the deal
