Yep that's him, station removed from all presets. Read a book by a radio legend John Myers he launched many stations including Century fm 105. He was the boss also Morgan in the morning at breakfast (genius) sadly missed as he died a couple of years ago. Anyway before Century 105 he was in charge of Century North East and they had the rights to cover Boro games and his instruction to commentator Alistair Brownlow was be 100% positivity for Boro go mad when they score be like the fan who wants to be at the game and boo and hiss at the opposition, Ali was more than happy to comply. Years later in semi retirement John was asked by the radio authority if he would do a report on BBC local radio and give his expert opinion on some underperforming stations. Well in his report on most of the stations its a tweak hear a change there perhaps but on Radio Manchester it was daming saying if ever a station needed major surgery then this is it. The book is a fab read its called Team it's only radio very funny man.

Thought that was a bit shitty at the time, as I was there when it happened and it was a bit out of order.

Tonight though I’ve seen him crassly use a global pandemic that has killed nearly two million people to push his agenda for City forfeiting a League Cup tie against his club and I think, you know what, fuck him. He’s an absolute prick.

Yeah it's not just him though, I get the impression the sports media in general are soft on Chelsea these days. When's the last time they went in hard on them?

Maybe I don't pay enough attention to Chelsea coverage but there seems to have been a lot gone on at Chelsea in the past two seasons, that would have whipped up a media hate frenzy for City.

maybe it’s because they’ve been a little bit shit lately, almost gone full Spursy.

Neville appears to be arguing that City (with a Covid outbreak in the camp) should put all Everton players and their staff at risk by playing the match. And apparently Everton are reported to be "furious" the match was called off. So Everton would be happy to put their entire staff at risk of getting Covid, including Carol Ancelotti aged 61? Has football descended into a parallel universe?

Football thinks it's a parallel universe, that's the problem. How many times have Pep, Klopp, Steve Bruce and countless other managers bought up the pandemic and the affects of it and the Premier League and Football League think they can push on through it. They're moronic the higher ups of the game, what happened at our club and at Newcastle a week or so ago was bound to happen and it will get worse before it gets better.
