Yep think we will lose about 60m this season.
Think most teams will lose big amounts, 60 m sounds about right, so will be interesting what happens to fees, but also what UEFA. do about FFP. Don’t think just running the reporting over to next year is a viable option any more.

The number one target for me. Other positions sure, but this is the priority.

Think a front 3 of

Jesus-----Haaland----Sterling

Would tear the prem apart.
How about adding Aguero as a front 4?...excuse me a need a private moment...

That is a really interesting point. UEFA need to act before the summer transfer window because if they don’t loosen the FFP regulations there will be no medium to big transfers and no one wants that, it’s those deals which oils the cogs of the football industry.

He'll either go to Madrid or PSG for a ridiculous fee or Bayern will tap him up and get him to run down his contact and he'll move there on a free replacing Lewandowski
Even without COVID those first two clubs are in financial trouble, the French TV deal has collapsed, Real were already rationalising their assets. Bayern could be a problem, they have a real grip on the German market and usually get the best talent for outrageously low fees. The question is do they really believe changing Haaland for Lewandoski would make them better?

Bayern certainly won't be waiting for him to run out his contract, it's got 3½ years to run. He'll be long gone by then.

Yep it’s like well if the player is negotiating with another team he doesn’t really want city! Having this as a standard in who we buy will end up with us missing out on the “A” class players.
Worked well so far though...

Haaland is an introvert who doesn't like interviews.

I like him, Pep likes his players to work hard and demonstrate humility and I think he will fit right into our game. Sign him up Pep! (and use him in interviews for any journalists who deserves being given a hard time).

Apologies if I’m late to the party with this thought but:

Lots of bluemooners think Pep’s system has been sussed.
Suddenly, we become a defensive powerhouse.
From looking like a team of smurfs, we have imported some big tough lads.
We keep getting linked with big, powerful players like Haaland, Grealish and Kane.

Going back to my first point, perhaps Pep worked out his system had been sussed long before we did.

The defensive stats back up your point.

no, I think people have been talking about it for months. The problem is he's only so far sussed how to solidify the defence to some extent and the expense of the attack, not fix the system in its entirety.

Not a scooby TBH but Grealish's name caught my eye, he's 5' 10" bud.

I d love this guy in our team but Im I cannot see it happening in the jan transfer window.....players like this just dont move very often at this time of year....plus Pep saying money aint available (or words to that effect).

I thikn there will be big competition for him if he does leave in summer and along with the fact that his agent has been extremely derogatory about Pep in the past and that there will be a bidding war for him I just dont think we will get him.
Of course I really hope he does come to us

Maybe his assistant has actually had an influence on the team despite people questioning what he's there for
