Holden onto a hero

Surely someone must be willing to take him on loan ? He is a complete idiot , both on and off the field. Easily the worst left back we've had since Ben Thatcher.
Did we get a new positive yesterday? For fucks sake.I know that so far this weekend Spurs, West Ham, Fulham and Crystal Palace have had players caught breaking lockdown over Christmas and NYE, and for some, like Spurs, that's happened immediately before the team gets positive tests which looks awful.
But how stupid do you have to be to break the lockdown after your club is in fucking lockdown and the training ground is closed and a game has been called off?
Seriously this is the timeline if the Sun article is true.
24th December - club gets 4 positive tests.
26th December - club gets 5 more positive tests and the Everton game is called off, the training ground is shut, Mendy asks a "modelling agent" if he can provide girls for a party.
30th December - No new tests, club reopens training ground.
31st December - Mendy has a big NYE party.
2nd December - City get a new positive test and go to Chelsea without 5 players.
Why wait? Sack or loan him now and get a proper LB for the remainder of the seasonWe've definitely got to cut our losses with him in the summer and it's not just because of him being an idiot, it just hasn't worked out here.
Depends how much wages he's on, I would of binned him off in the summer. Why wait? Sack or loan him now and get a proper LB for the remainder of the season
Yeah Tierney was a very obvious one at the time and a bargain at 20mHe is the modern version of Danny Mills, full of crap bleeding the club dry. I accept he had a bad injury but so have other players but they've returned to a similar level
Mendy never has because he hasn't got the will and determination to do it. I am surprised the number of chances he's been given but it's clear before this incident that he is no longer part of the picture.
We need someone like Tierney who shows you can flourish after injury setbacks.
