Probably not. Supposedly heading to Blackburn on loan so I'm guessing he won't be risked.

I fear the worst then, have any of our loans to Blackburn came back a roaring success? :/

Yes I believe you are correct and one assumes Garcia has come from the latest set of tests screened for Covid.

Given his leg injury although I could be wrong I assume he wasn't training with the main squad hence the decision to play the match today.

Wonder if he has picked it up from someone outside the club one would think so and he has given it to a physio or someone of that ilk.

The other five would be in isolation but again this testing regime and the bubble the teams are supposedly in is by no means sufficient to ensure maximum safety for the players.

you would think Chelsea would be abit nervous about being close to our players when we have this outbreak at the club. Not to sure i would want to risk my health playing against a team with a high out break.

The whole world is a Covid hotspot Karen, but I agree that football shouldn’t be being played in that world. The fact that until less than a fortnight ago 2,000 people were allowed to sit next to each other in the same stand is completely fucking mental, and how far away from reality the football authorities and government really are

Toisin had a brilliant season there tbf and is now doing well in the Premier League, albeit not for us.
Have any of our loans anywhere come back a roaring success? Angelino has done well at both PSV and RBL but doesn't seem to have any future with us

Hopefully not Kaz when we can get 128 cases in a cluster from a RSL club in NSW from one positive who wasn't isolating or in quarantine at the time when everyone was socially distancing in a country like Australia which currently has little community transmission after major lockdowns and state border closures you get some idea easy it is for any person least of all a footballer can pick up this disease.

I am sure we had as many protocols in place as possible but just in the past week 6 players and a number of staff have become covid positive.

Unfortunately you can be assured more city players will become covid positive its at least 8 already.

You wonder how many Fulham players have already tested positive.

No common sense in this handling of the pandemic at all placing broadcast rights ahead of public health.

Chelsea had their spread of virus according to Lampard and we have many players out but still this match in hot spot is allowed to go ahead.

This is senseless shit ever.

Yet we’re all going to watch it therefore indirectly supporting the decision to play it. Not having a go at all but those are the cold truths. Unless there’s a blanket boycott of matches they’ll go ahead - and there’s very few footy fans prepared to do that. I fell out of love with the game when var came in but my sons didn’t so it’ll be on in this house and I’ll carry on paying for it and will probably end up watching it out of habit. That’s the problem.
