I fear the worst then, have any of our loans to Blackburn came back a roaring success? :/Probably not. Supposedly heading to Blackburn on loan so I'm guessing he won't be risked.
Yes I believe you are correct and one assumes Garcia has come from the latest set of tests screened for Covid.so are City technically 6 players( i think ) short for todays match through the pandemic plus backroom staff and people still think the integrity of the league in intact ? 6 injuries is one thing but a pandemic
We will know soon butPardon my ignorance and laziness but who all are we without?
Eric junior but he is injuried and not with the squadPresume they’ve had the latest Covid test results and no more positives to report?
Think Eric Garcia has it as well but he has supposedly not been near the squad so I guess he is still injuredWe will know soon but
Ederson, torres(not confirmed yet/rumoured), Gabby, walker, Doyle and one EDS player
you would think Chelsea would be abit nervous about being close to our players when we have this outbreak at the club. Not to sure i would want to risk my health playing against a team with a high out break.Yes I believe you are correct and one assumes Garcia has come from the latest set of tests screened for Covid.
Given his leg injury although I could be wrong I assume he wasn't training with the main squad hence the decision to play the match today.
Wonder if he has picked it up from someone outside the club one would think so and he has given it to a physio or someone of that ilk.
The other five would be in isolation but again this testing regime and the bubble the teams are supposedly in is by no means sufficient to ensure maximum safety for the players.
its nailed on we will get more and ruin our season unless the league places a halt on all games.
i mean london being a really hotspot , i was against project restart as it was but it is far more dangerous now , we will look back and regret playing football now , or cry most likely , i really fear we will lose someone from the team or coaching staffThe whole world is a Covid hotspot Karen, but I agree that football shouldn’t be being played in that world. The fact that until less than a fortnight ago 2,000 people were allowed to sit next to each other in the same stand is completely fucking mental, and how far away from reality the football authorities and government really are
I agree even if we had no covid cases I would still think a halt to the season is appropriate.Hopefully they all get well soon and it's only a mild case that they have.
The Premier League ought to be ashamed of themselves putting money ahead of health.
Scumbags.
This game should be called off and football put a stop to.
Tbh with Alti in charge and Dean on Var it does not matter what team we put out todayso are City technically 6 players( i think ) short for todays match through the pandemic plus backroom staff and people still think the integrity of the league in intact ? 6 injuries is one thing but a pandemic
Toisin had a brilliant season there tbf and is now doing well in the Premier League, albeit not for us.I fear the worst then, have any of our loans to Blackburn came back a roaring success? :/
Hopefully not Kaz when we can get 128 cases in a cluster from a RSL club in NSW from one positive who wasn't isolating or in quarantine at the time when everyone was socially distancing in a country like Australia which currently has little community transmission after major lockdowns and state border closures you get some idea easy it is for any person least of all a footballer can pick up this disease.i mean london being a really hotspot , i was against project restart as it was but it is far more dangerous now , we will look back and regret playing football now , or cry most likely , i really fear we will lose someone from the team or coaching staff
There's some comments on the THB thread added today about his possible loan to Blackburn.I fear the worst then, have any of our loans to Blackburn came back a roaring success? :/
"With the money they've spent..."Well we will hear after they mention our half dozen players out with covid with
“if there is one team who can cope with players out with covid, it’s Man City”
Lets hope they socially distance themselves for us when we have the ball.you would think Chelsea would be abit nervous about being close to our players when we have this outbreak at the club. Not to sure i would want to risk my health playing against a team with a high out break.
Yet we’re all going to watch it therefore indirectly supporting the decision to play it. Not having a go at all but those are the cold truths. Unless there’s a blanket boycott of matches they’ll go ahead - and there’s very few footy fans prepared to do that. I fell out of love with the game when var came in but my sons didn’t so it’ll be on in this house and I’ll carry on paying for it and will probably end up watching it out of habit. That’s the problem.Chelsea had their spread of virus according to Lampard and we have many players out but still this match in hot spot is allowed to go ahead.
This is senseless shit ever.
