Next League Games

I was expecting 7/9 points from these
West Brom (H) - Draw
Southampton (A) - Win
Newcastle (H) - Win
The only surprise was the draw came against West Brom and not Southampton.

Hoping for at least 17/21 from these games:
Everton (A)
Chelsea (A)
Brighton (H)
Crystal Palace (H)
West Brom (A)
Sheffield United (H)
Burnley (A)

It is time we got our goals / game stats up - lets aim for 3 per game which should see us accumulate a good number of points in the process.

They are all winnable games. Not sure about Chelsea but the rest we should win

Everton could have been tougher if some of the star players were available. But with digne, Richardlson and James out we don't have any excuse

I am hoping for all wins but I feel we might drop 2 - 3 points from these games

I still feel if we drop 2 points it will still be a good run

Next 6

Chelsea (A)
Brighton (H)
Palace (H)
West Brom (A)
Sheff Utd (H)
Burnley (A)

I think we're capable of winning all of them but 5 wins and a draw would be a very good return when you consider the teams above us are regularly dropping points.

I'm sure Liverpool fans had similar thoughts going into the WBA and Newcastle matches.
15 points + are expected, but, this is a wierd season.
Fingers crossed.

Next 6 before Liverpool, in that time Liverpool play United for the first time, and Spurs, and United play Arsenal too. Big opportunity.

Brighton (H)
Crystal Palace (H)
Villa (H)
West Brom (A)
Sheffield United (H)
Burnley (A)

Just out of interest City are now most bookmakers favourite at 5/4. Liverpool drifted to 7/4 and United at 7/1.

A real chance to put a run together.

With covid, we don’t even know if teams we’re playing in the very next game, or us, will be able to fulfil fixtures.

Brighton - H
Palace - H
Villa - H
West Brom - A
Sheffield U - H
Burnley - A

Before.

Liverpool - A
Spurs - H
Arsenal - A
West Ham - H
United - H

7 home games.
4 away games.

This is the period of the season where City can make a real title challenge if they win all of those winnable home games. And that includes Spurs and United on our day.

That leaves a tricky away trip to Burnley, depending if they turn up or not. West Brom away, which we should surely win. A title 6 pointer at Anfield, where we never do well. And a now tuff looking trip to the Emirates to face a much improved Arsenal.

During that period we also play BMGB away in the CL.

5 league wins now will put us in a very strong position. However, this season has shown there are weird results all over so as long as we stay in touch with the leaders then we have a great chance.

It has been a strange season for results. We have been pretty good against Liverpool, Arsenal and now Chelsea but off the pace against teams we should beat.

We look like the balance is starting to return. In a season where covid will continue to play a part, we have to go and take those next 6 and win them all.

We can then go into the tougher games knowing if we can avoid defeat we remain in the better position. This is the year we win at Anfield as well, I just know it!
