He doesn't want to get into any kind of intense title rivalry where we are pitted against each other 1v1 like we were with Liverpool in 2018/19

I thought when he said we were the best side in the country it was a very clear attempt to try and preemptively remove pressure from his side when they likely go top of the table on Tuesday, and he's doing it because he thinks they will crumble under pressure.

United had the same problem Chelsea had. They actually got forward a few times and whenever they got into a decent position their attacks were just snuffed out. They never broke through, they never created a gilt-edged chance, they never got anywhere outside of the odd corner. Dias in particular these past two fixtures specifically has really been a difference maker.

It just sapped away at their confidence.


We had this in 18/19 when Laporte and Kompany were paired too for most of that 14 game win streak where we barely conceded. It's a telling sight.

The real exciting part is that this is only the beginning. Dias is still probably unpacking his suitcase!

Talksh*te rags really in pain. To a man, they are all peddling the line - the best team over the 90mins/on the night won.

That type of limiting qualifier noticeably added to every one of their concessions as they just can't bring themselves to admit we are just the better team full stop.
