It feels like the Centurions season when I listened to the MSM this morning. Talksport were running with stories about Lampard and Ole not being good enough and that's pretty much been the tone with the rest of them.

City break other teams is what is happening.

In that Centurions season, every time we beat each of the top 6 teams the next day the MSM was full of stories about how Maureen didn't know what he was doing, or that Poch was on his way out unless things changed. It was like we destroyed the opposition so much that the media then looked for a scape goat (They certainly werent going to admit it was just that City and Pep were THAT good).

I am seeing the same today, and that's a sure sign that things might be getting on the right track......

  • We beat Utd - Ole doesn't know what he is doing​
  • Beat Chelsea - Lampard is out of his depth​
  • If we beat spurs - Maureen cant win finals​
  • If we beat Arsenal - Arteta will be on his way tbh​
  • If we beat lfc - stories about ffp/cheating/City racism will surface (The MSM dont want to upset their only hope)​

When City beat the top 6 clubs we dont just beat them we destroy their whole season - With quite a lot of help from the furious media

Might explain how the ‘journalists’ get their jobs at the Guardian. They just stumble in to them from previous professions, including but not limited to; cleaning up elephant shit at Chester Zoo, emptying colostomy bags at MRI, and inhaling glue so analysts can observe the subsequent brain damage that ensues.

The rags are doing okay to be fair and are making progress but the media forget they have spent over 900 million to get there. If you hear them speak you'd think they are cobbled together with kids and players plucked from the lower leagues which is irritating.

There are several like us who dislike her know all attitude but for me she was particularly grating as she had probably had never heard of Colin Bell until he died.
Her huge wardrobe pisses me off too. I much prefer dithering mumsy Auntie Louise.

that list alone should but the fear of god in the rest of the premier league watching last night
plus how on earth does roy keane and others think united can win the league and other cups in england if city are still in the race for them

that list of 9 players would beat united on their own and add 3 from the youth setup and they would be 1st or 2nd in the league

I was young when that game was played.
But whenever it was mentioned at future world cups. The criticism for Bonnetti was overwhelming.
They just changed the scapegoat.
