After praising “many” of the Capitol police officers that acted with bravery (presumably those protecting the chambers inside the building), Pelosi indicates there was obviously still a failure of leadership (reading between the lines that goes down to lower street-level officers), and is calling for the resignation of the Capitol Police Chief.

She has also indicated that they will be pushing for impeachment but that she hopes Pence and the cabinet invoke the 25th before those proceedings to ensure Trump cannot do more damage over the next 13 days.

She did not want to commit on what timeline she would give Pence and co do start 25th amendment proceedings, though.

Pelosi vehemently asserted that the 6th of January insurrectionists would be brought to justice.
