despite the goofs with the players' names I found the BBC commentary far better than the usual list of transfer fees and wages from Ian Darke. I didn't hear them mention money once.
The bloke on the Arsenal let out his bias by starting to say 'we...', realised what he was saying, stumbled and made a mess of trying to correct things.
But at least he realised and tried to correct it, unlike the shameless bias shown by higher paid and more well known colleagues.

BBC Breakfast pushing the message about distancing etc through GPS, Derbyshire Poice Commissioner, Cornwall Deputy Chief Constable, politicians and just now Professor Whittey.
Yet it keeps glorifying the players, fans, officials and even next door neighbours as they break distance and mask rules celebrating their wins with Silly Sally simpering through the Botox about the romance of the cup.
Meanwhile l am not sure if l can drive the car a couple of miles to a quiet lane to exercise the dog and me safely away from others on a surface that is safe underfoot.

BBC have just released an article on why new man United signing Diallo is reminiscent of Ronaldo.

Curious I clicked the link, only to see that they spend most of the article listing the differences and finish off by quoting an ex coach who says he needs to add a few kilos of weight. As Lukaku, Shaw and others will testify, he's certainly gone to the right club then. All he needs to know is when to dive and when to shove a Big Mac in his face.

I saw that headline but couldn’t bring myself to click on anything positive about those twats. Hopefully he’ll disappear and end up on loan to a mid table Italian side by this time next year.

Funny, I don’t recall any journos getting overexcited when we sign Ferran Torres. But some unknown kid goes to the shithole and they’re wanking about him. Very odd.

so it was Ronaldo MacDonald who he was similar to

Despite a good result yesterday and a coast to the final whistle in the second half, the MEN having a pop at Mendy as one of two players that didn't impress Pep the other being Steffen. Why are they always looking for a negative angle? Despite saying Mendy didn't do anything spectacular or make any mistakes, he gets called out ( hangover from his Covid antics being serialised by the Sun?) . The other player was Steffen who they say won't replace Ederson in the eyes of Gardiola as City's number 1 keeper. No shit Sherlock. I have to say though that young lad Steffen has impressed me in the games he has played. What about a mention that City used the second half to give game time to the youngsters from the academy or that Foden had a great game. We get slagged off continually for not bringing through young players but few comments when we do. Pleased for Bernardo yesterday and Foden showing us that there ain't much wrong with his development. I was teary eyed again during the minute's silence for Colin. I thought it was very fitting that a our players were watching him on the big screens

Ziegler at it again... look at the image he’s picked to accompany his story.

The DT reports this morning that the football 'authorities' - I presume that's the FA-with-PL - are rather dismayed that goal celebrations are not maintaining the rather specific Covid protocols. Six pictures illustrate six teams hugging in a small group. Naturally, when it's summat scurrilous to report we have top billing. But on the front they laud the efforts of Crawley who are keeping the 'romance' of the FArce Cup alive - the piccy shows three Creepy Crawley team mates shoulder to shoulder beaming at their magnificent win! No mention of Covid protocols attached to that picture. Some blue wrote yesterday that he was fed up with the double standards re Covid policing. Football is rife with double standards across the board, so too it the RDAHMeedya.

I think our fans' so called "reputation" relates only to a relatively small group of people on Twitter. But some of those so-called journalists have no formal training and are actually no more than professional trolls. However there is a broader issue about unfair coverage of City in the media generally and I think it is absolutely right for our fanbase to challenge it when it deserves to be challenged. I have mixed views on Sam Lee. I don't think he is in any way malicious (as some have claimed) but he has made a lot of mistakes, especially with his coverage of the FFP issue.
Well said. The club hierarchy might have adopted a hands off approach and not want to fight snide and agenda-riddled bias head on, but I’m glad that some fans certainly do

I see Mike keegan has called out sky’s impartiality when covering the Southampton v Liverpool match in the daily fail. It was only 2 short paragraphs but nevertheless a surprise.

“Those who tuned into Sky's coverage of Liverpool's Monday night trip to Southampton could be forgiven for believing they were watching the Merseyside club's in-house channel - because they were”.

“A gushing homage to Thiago Alcantara, who made his first start since October 17 in the 1-0 defeat, was lifted straight from LFCTV and broadcast to the nation, leading some to question the broadcaster's wisdom and impartiality”.

Daily Mail are obviously nailing their flag to the rag mast.
