Mcpointy actually made a rare good point there. Everyone who is English is obsessed with Foden starting every game. Even plenty on here as well. Pep has managed him magnificently. He’s waited and waited and waited for the right time to start him regularly. Obviously now is the time and look how hungry and brilliant he is. He knows he’s got to play out of his skin every week to stay in our magnificent team and it shows. Take a bow pep and take a bow Phil. What a player. To pass it into the net under pressure with that calmness and precision is world class
100% this. The squad is big enough and good enough for no player to burn out by playing every game. We could have another 15 years watching this kid.

I would argue these are the type of games where we defo need an outright striker?

They enjoy sitting in and so many of our players are having to come deep to collect and create.

Bernie's ball retention in that half was something special.

Only concern is Foden and Mahrez not getting back in on the cover.

Stones is being drawn out wide right and has faced a couple of uncomfortable situations where a better player could have punished him and us.

Same goes for Zin on the other side.

Would like to see Sterling for Mahrez.

It's kind of crazy how Kev has just normalized his insane passing to us City fans.

His passing this half is not normal, but for Kev it is, if it weren't for those 2 chances where he probably should have scored 1, more would be raving about that half from Kev.
