Yeah, left back as been a problem for years due to who ever plays there can’t defend. Clichy was decent but he was terrible going forward. We’ve never had a truly balanced left back. I just want a player that is steady and reliable. It would give us the perfect balance at the back.Theo Hernandez is an excellent modern full back with extremely good pace and physicality, but people will quickly turn on him for the simple fact that he's a really terrible defender. Very easy to catch out and get done, and that's in Serie A, Prem attackers will take liberties of that

It annoys me so much that we weren’t on this. Maybe he would have preferred going back to Frankfurt but I think he’d be good for us
He’s gonna have a great half season in the bundesliga, and Real is gonna sell him in the summer to fund Mbappe or Haaland. We could probably get him for 40m or so. Jovic would fit our system really well, I feel. All around striker with underrated technical ability. I feel our system is more stable and better for player development than Madrid's anyway. Think we can get the most out of this player. If he's available for €40M or so, we should consider pulling the trigger.

Lucas Digne from Everton would be great purchase. Knows the Barca/City system so shouldn't take too long to acclimatise, familiar with the Prem and coming into the prime of his career. Would be a sensible signing and could buy for a decent fee with only two years left on contract. Do it City!

Not sure where to put this but Jovic looks like Madrid might have just been a blip, scoring twice on his return to Frankfurt. The power on the first is absolutely unbelievable, he just prods it with his foot and it's a rocket.
A blip or his level is playing against very poor opposition? Schalke have won like one game in 30 havent they?

I honestly think Haaland, Ndidi and a LB would make us by far the best team in the world. Ndidi allows 2 CAMs like when we played our best football in 17-19. Haaland seems tailor-made for the Prem and his goal rate (especially in CL) is frightening for his age. We've not had a proper LB for as long as I can remember. Maybe Laporte or Ake there?
Gundogan looks a different player when not in a double pivot. I'm sure Torres or Mahrez could fill in if injuries occur.
