Yeah, left back as been a problem for years due to who ever plays there can’t defend. Clichy was decent but he was terrible going forward. We’ve never had a truly balanced left back. I just want a player that is steady and reliable. It would give us the perfect balance at the back.Theo Hernandez is an excellent modern full back with extremely good pace and physicality, but people will quickly turn on him for the simple fact that he's a really terrible defender. Very easy to catch out and get done, and that's in Serie A, Prem attackers will take liberties of that
If we don’t sign Haaland, I would like to get Luka Jovic. Loaned back to Bundesliga, got 2 goals in his return today coming on as a sub. Tall, strong, great in the air, fantastic finisher and very two footed. Like a more technically gifted Dzeko
we should have took him on Loan ourselves to be honest as he is a fantastic striker who fell for the Madrid shiny toy syndrome!
He’s gonna have a great half season in the bundesliga, and Real is gonna sell him in the summer to fund Mbappe or Haaland. We could probably get him for 40m or so. He’s hugely underratedwe should have took him on Loan ourselves to be honest as he is a fantastic striker who fell for the Madrid shiny toy syndrome!
We chose Rodri.Ndombele
We scouted him extensively before he went to Newcastle, think he had a bad injury while he was thereMikel Merino from Sociedad has put in some really good performances the past two seasons. Always puts in a shift with his tackles and interceptions. Didn't work out well for him at Newcastle but at the age of 24, he's coming into his own. One of the better midfielders in the Spanish league.
Not sure where to put this but Jovic looks like Madrid might have just been a blip, scoring twice on his return to Frankfurt. The power on the first is absolutely unbelievable, he just prods it with his foot and it's a rocket.
Some interesting suggestions in Tifo's recent video:
They did ignore left back though, surprisingly.
His ball playing isn't that great either. Kolarovish...Theo Hernandez is an excellent modern full back with extremely good pace and physicality, but people will quickly turn on him for the simple fact that he's a really terrible defender.
