If Villa win their 3 games in hand (this is one of them) then they would be above us in second.

They are without a doubt the best side we have faced in the league for a few months and while they've had disruption from covid, they've also had more than 2 weeks rest and time to prepare for us.

They could easily lose them 3 games too,their form is very similar to Leeds,win 1 lose 1,saw them just before Xmas against Brighton they were garbage...

Grealish has been playing alot more central in recent games than out wide left maybe he's just been given a free role, Either way he will be fouled alot. If he does play wide left I'd love to see Cancelo on him I think he'd do a number on him.

our level is way above a plucky villa, we will dominate them, score two first half goals then let them play in front of us . brighton are actually a harder team to play.

They had a bit of a run before xmas where they won 3 out of 4 but other than that their form has been all over the place..

Always hard to tell what might happen in a game like this, when one team has had a long time off.

We looked dead on our feet for the last 15mins against Brighton but then full of energy and able to rotate well against Palace yesterday so I think the fact we're on a run will help us more than Villa having some time to recover.

Need to get out of the blocks quick whilst they try to adjust to match sharpness again.

I disagree. Even prime Eden Hazard always struggled to get anything from Walker. I know he has the tendency of doing brain farts from time to time but when he’s on it, he gives the best of premier league attackers a torrid time.

Out of interest are you suggesting that Grealish couldn’t also take Cancelo to the cleaners?

Not at all,but given Cancelo isn't prone to brain farts,the liklihood is diminished.
