i still can't get over him saying 'if they can keep Debruyne fit..' randomly on motd, with no hint of him not being fit. Next game, he picks up an injury. Jinxing twat.

Negatives - we should have accepted whatever Barca bid for Garcia a few months ago. THB is not a right back, not fair to play him there. What the fuck has happened to Mendy? Torrres looks to be still struggling with the after effects of Covid. Those fucking fireworks.
Positives - good to see Laporte back although looked rusty. Phil, no further comment needed. Jesus managed to please and frustrate in equal measures but he kept on going.

On another note fuck of Danny Murphy and your inane comments. Funny how we never got free kicks for any late snidey fouls. Still think it was a foul on Jesus in first half for a penalty. Ref was poor and shouldn’t be anywhere near the premier league

Phew.
A few didn't do themselves any favours out there. Young Doyle, that must have been a chastening experience for him and he was lucky to last as long as he did, day dreaming at their goal.
Gab was pretty poor for 9/10ths of that match yet managed to score the winner.
Thought we were heading out there.
Foden turned it around for us and was MOTM.
 
CTFC would give any Prem team a decent game. They defended tight and in numbers. The only thing they really lacked was the the link play.
It shows how well they were drilled, because we had to bring on Gundo and Cancelo and Dias.
THB and Doyle looked lost.
Mahrez can leave tomorrow if he takes Mendy with him. They were both below the acceptable level we need. Mahrez looks like he doesn’t give a shit. Mendy is just shocking.
Foden is an absolute joy to watch. We could have the greatest midfielder from England ina long time. His balance, vision and desire is something a lot of his fellow team mates could take guidance from.
Laporte looked comfortable and that will have done him good.
Gabby MUST start putting away these golden chances.
Huge respect to CTFC, I hope they push on in their quest for promotion.

Well, Cheltenham gave us a great [gud’old] FA-cup tie. Credit to them. We didn’t play well but that was also due to them.

I enjoyed it. Really did. Obviously happy it didn’t end in an upset. But this is the charm of the cup competition. However there might be a generation on here that probably cannot understand that.

No harm done. Not drawing any conclusions towards players other than Foden is becoming pure quality.

Would have been a great day out that today.

Everyone got on their new coats and hats/scarves/gloves they got for Christmas, freezing out, away day at somewhere we’ve never been before, tough game, magic of the Cup, but a win in the end, on the piss around Cheltenham tonight, home tomorrow afternoon to sleep it off!

Fucking covid ruining it!

If I were a pundit, one of the first things I’d do is learn how to pronounce players’ names. Who the fcuk are HAY-zoos and CanCHELO, you fcukin Scouse bonehead?

Never going to be flowing football given team and how well Cheltenham played.

Mahrez with his shithousery at the end after that performance should see him fined, ducking embarrassing. Needs moved on in the summer.

Mendy - is going to be a mangala situation. But so be it.

Foden - just take a bow son. This kid will achieve everything in football. Looked terrific in the centre.

Overall enjoyed the game, thought I’d woken up in the 80’s/90s for the first 75 min
