I think Sterling's problem is that he's thinking too much instead of just playing naturally. He's overthinking it and it's causing him to hold on to the ball for too long. At his best he looks so natural.

the positions that Cancello is taking up/the role he is playing is what has transformed us this season......he is basically a free man in midfield and no one is ever picking him up...that pass for GUndogan's first goal was sublime and was KDB esque

Absolutely, many of us on here have been saying that Cancelo could well be the player to fill in for KDB during his absence. He has shown in recent games he has all the tools to do the job. He’s having a great season.

Gundog may have been one of the best pieces of transfer business in the premier league era. He plays A LOT in the best midfield the league has probably ever seen and is getting better with age. £24m (if memory serves)
for a player that was already a household name and was just about to enter his prime when we got him goes under the radar. He cost what mid table teams pay for squad players. That’s nuts when you think about it.

That was our best (and most watchable) half of football this season. Gundo and Cancelo fcukin magnificent. Solid foundation at the back, as we’ve now come to expect.

Only negative is Sterling’s continuing Bambi impressions. (H2 hat trick incoming!) Get one of the kids on for him please.

This was like rewinding the clock 2/3 seasons ago.Wonderful stuff bacon.
