What i learned

gundogan is now our main man. Pushed further up the pitch he is running the show

stones .. hes here hes there hes every fuckin where.

good to see laporte get plenty of mins and an excellent tackle at the end.

glad sterling bagged. Hes not quite firing but a goal will do for now

what position is cancello playing ? Hes bang on it. As is zinchenko

nice goal by mahrez. Always has me feeling hes not quite leaving everything out there

oh and WBA ... play to the whistle! I was taught that at 5 years old. Big fuck up by massey all the same
 
Gundogan and Cancelo outstanding tonight but what really impressed me is just how strong and confident we now look.
There is a brilliant fluidity about this team
I think this is the most balanced squad I can remember since the takeover.
If we can do this without a starting recognised striker for 75% of the season God know how good we will be when Kun comes back.
Take a bow boys.
 
Sure it was only west Brom.

Still i thought it was a good collective team performance.

These sides are Banana skins.

Pep in the dug out looked smitten with this team.

Feels like it is all coming together,at just the right time,

Enjoying the football again.
 
I know it was a team battling relegation,but tonight reminded me of the centurion season the way we played especially first half,and the kits reminded me of the 2011-12 season hopefully both are good omens ...

Gundogan was phenomenal, twinned with Bernie, their intensity and harrying the ball carrier is superb.
Cancelo was great. He is blossoming in RB / Midfield role.
Brilliant to see Eric getting plenty of time. That would be a mean defence of Cancelo, Stones, Dias, Eric.
Obviously we dropped off completely second half, but all the damage had been done already. Nice to see pep getting the subs on early too.
Eating my words about FFS, he still needs to up his tempo, and deliver consistently.
Raz needs more full games, and stop running down blind channels.
Gabby looks like he suffering and needs to put these chances away.
Who needs a striker anyway.
