FA Cup R5 | Swansea (A) | 10/02 Wed 5:30pm

07.02 - Sun - Liverpool (A)
10.02 - Wed - Swansea (A)
13.02 - Sat - Tottenham (H)

Firstly, the 10.02 (Wed) is a tentative date (as most logical day in between the other two), but this could be on Tue 09.02 or Thu 11.02 as well. The TV picks better not screw us over by moving away from Wed ...

If then it is on Wednesday then I think we'll be fine. Given Liverpool is out of the FA Cup but they won't have the midweek free BEFORE our game with them and only after ... and Spurs like us are still in it so they have Everton to go AWAY to before coming AWAY to us ...

Get these three wins in a row ... and we're winning the league and at least one domestic cup this season ... then follow these by next three wins (which will most likely be the rescheduled Everton (A), Arsenal (A) and Monchengladbach (A) and we're winning everything this year ... Toughest two weeks of the season, no doubt!

In 2012 Swansea away was a result that looked to have cost us the title. Not an easy place to play however think it will be better for us playing in an empty stadium, prefer this to Forest as we never seem to get any luck there. Last time at Swansea in the cup we were very lucky and could understand their fans being pissed off.

Praying we have some kind of Aguero back for the later games.

Or Danny Ings in the back of a Ford Transit in the Ethiad staff car park.

That's what I questioned at first ... it just ruined the whole round ... imagine if the draw was still to take place ... every other team (including us) would have been interested in the other ties, e.g. the rags v scouse game as we could potentially draw the winner of that one ... but now given how this was done, no one other than perhaps west ham was interested ...

Not to be side tracked by CL and back to FA Cup ... watch them now still not being able to decide fixtures even after all these ties are played (one tonight, another tomorrow) and mark my words or save this post ...
we'd be all here later in the week still asking each other if anyone has any idea when they'd actually schedule the fixtures for next round!

I told you so ...

What happened to "oh, we're doing two rounds of draws to facilitate with fixture scheduling"

Guess they were just waiting for me to post that, lol ... should’ve posted a few days ago I guess ...

5.30 for a midweek game is a bit strange, even if there are no fans there.

This should be Aguero's first game back after his covid isolation. Would it be too much to ask for him to come off the bench and score 2, get an assist in a 4-0 win?

Look on the bright side, we get 2hrs 45 mins more rest than Spurs before the Saturday.
I checked when theirs was myself.

5.30 pm and 7.30pm for the two games are better for kids to watch - providing they have access to BT Sport though.

All those WFH won't care.

As frustrating as it is for those of us who will be at work for part or most of the game, I suspect the actual number of people who can't watch a 5.30pm kick of is quite low, otherwise they wouldn't put it there - they want the TV viewing numbers.
