Always funny when people lose their heads over rotation, despite being fully aware that we play every 3/4 days for the entire season. Nobody is saying the game is easy but if you are a top team and don’t rotate at home to bottom of the league then it’s almost negligent. You have to. Not 11 changes, but at least some are simply essential. It’s a good team selection considering our circumstances and what we have looming in the horizon.

As I said above, we are a big team and need to rotate. Look at Feb’s fixtures. Rotation is key today. Everyone accepts that makes the game harder but these are the calculated risks you have to take regularly if you want to win multiple trophies. We will win and we will have rested some key players and it will be a brilliant day. You’ll see :) No, it won’t be 8-0, but 2-0 or 2-1 is fine. Get the points and put the squad in great shape for Feb.

Stones was rested against Cheltenham last week, he's a centre back and doesn't need to rest as much if he's fully fit. He can rest against Swansea in 10 days. Of course we're still likely to win and it's a squad game but I'd rather play Laporte at left back instead of rotating our central defenders.

People seriously moaning about rotation? Yes we can lose to anybody but these are bottom of the league if you can't rotate here in a season like this we've got no hope. Stones has an injury record, giving him a little rest is a good idea to keep him fresh, cancelo has played a lot and is vital to us right now so getting him a rest is advantageous with the upcoming fixtures. All the others can't argue about being rotated.

Good side imo, good use of the full squad, no complaints about the team selection from me. Very young forward line, let's see what they can do.
