was just wondering,i bet the insurance Co will be all over this when things return, travel and life insurance, no jab= no travel or mortgage life cover

I think I said the same a while ago.
Probably not mortgage cover, but I expect travel insurance for the next 5 years at least to need it. It's probably undecided at the moment though as the duration/regularity of vaccinations won't have been settled on yet.

are people getting any sort of official document when vaccinated.just wondered incase travel restrictions are lifted at some point
I think something will inevitably be required for international travel at least in the short term. The cynic in me says it will probably be a nice little earner for GPs, £20 or so to provide an authenticated certificate or if the practice has entered the 21stC something that can be loaded on to your phone.

Would be easy to add to the numerous gp apps patient Access, my gp etc

Stupid question but say we introduced vaccine passports tomorrow, what would the 8 million who have had jabs so far with nothing to prove it get around?

I got a card telling me to carry it at all times. It has my name and date of jab on. I suppose that is some sort of proof.

Nothing for me, I was given a form with my name on it, the date and time of my jab and when I was due the next one but it was part of a general information leaflet.

Most could presumably be done on 2nd jab.
I agree though that those who've had double should have something.

I agree it should be easy but the way my local practice underuses Patient Access - patient info not remotely up to date - I'm not totally confident.
My practice is similar not much of medical record is switched on but is an easy task inoculations are on there just needs to be active.

Not even location of where it was given, or a barcode?
Puzzling.

It's a photocopied form with the doctors surgery at the top and gaps for them to fill in details. I just looked again and it does say I'll be given a yellow card with my next appointment time and date but I didn't get one. I might call the surgery to check.

Thanks - they probably don't know about a next time yet! Worth the question though.
