If she has taken time off to look after her daughter yes family friendly is unpaid but if she felt she had symptoms and booked a test for say weds results back Fri she would then be paid as isolating

Not even location of where it was given, or a barcode?
Puzzling.
Mrs WD has had hers (NHS worker). She got a Public Health England card with her name, name of vaccine, batch number, the date of the jab, second appointment date and space for details of the second one. Is that not what everyone has got?

When will all the over 50s be vaccinated by? If that is not until the summer, then there is your answer, no?
No because the rates will subside in the summer like last year and that was the scenario being put.

should we release restrictions if hospitalisations haven’t come down enough is a different question

That's the type of thing I would expect - especially the batch number. I don't qualify for a few more bands, but others suggest they're not getting that,

Sorry if this has already been posted but the 10.00 news on the Beeb reported that there were over 34000 in hospital which was no change from the report last night
I presume that they are using the 5 day old data figures as I trust HP's to be more up to date.
34,000 was the UK total. England alone last had 34,000 about two weeks ago.

The ones I post in detail daily are for England.

And yes they are as of yesterday unlike most of the ones the media use. NHS England posts the data around tea time daily but it often is not added to the Gov UK site until later or next day. And the other nations data can be days old.

There are about 4300 from the other three nations in hospital atop the 28, 112 for England so around 32,500 in UK as of last night.

I've never heard of this app or had anyone mention it from my surgery.
I've know idea if everyone can use it but our local surgery does, I believe you can order your prescriptions and stuff off it, and book gp appointments, the app is in Google play store, download it and see what comes up for you.

are people getting any sort of official document when vaccinated.just wondered incase travel restrictions are lifted at some point

Nothing that you can use as an official document. Your NHS number can be used to find out what vaccine shots you have had by medical professionals but that's it.
You just get a card listing the vaccine name, batch and date of your first shot then they fill it in for the 2nd shot when you get that.
