I don’t get all this talk of resting players tomorrow night.

This is probably the biggest week of our season so far, it’s not the time to bench players who are bang in form.

We can chop and change for the Swansea game and give our key players a week off until we play spurs.

Ederson, Cancelo, Stones, Dias, Zinchenko, Gundogan, Foden, Bernardo have to start the next two in my opinion.

The other 3 is anyone’s guess as I don’t think any of our forward line are particularly in form.

I can see Fern starting against Burnley and Rodri against the murderers.
Other way round for Ferna and Rodri

Expecting a win but a much tougher game to that of our usual rout at home.

At this stage i'd be happy with a scrappy 0-1.

Even our strongest 11 could lose to Liverpool who are showing good form again. However, against Burnley, our top team should get a win. I'd go for 3 pts on Wednesday then, even a draw against Candlewick, would be a good result for league position.

We have got some right fucking dicks supporting us these days. Oh FFS this and FFS that. Two things (1) he plays for City, not the rags or the dippers or some other cunts (2) the comments aren’t even amusing, just the same juvenile crass shite every fucking game. Many of the same fuckers were slagging Ilkay Gundogan off a month ago. Sad twats

Well said. We have to remember that some on here are rags & dippers masquerading as City fans. Real fans would not treat a very good player in this way.

Give it a rest Dax and don't present me with any shit stats thanks. Fernandinho is the main man in big games and there's only a few who'll disagree, you being one of them.
You are wrong, but I'm more interested in Burnley right now. So, I'll find and bug the shit our of you later :)

Easy to be critical of individuals in a team sport.

Of course players will have off days , some will struggle with injury and personal battles that effects form and management and recruitment does require discussion and replacements found from time to time.

Remember its never as bad as it seems and never as good as it looks.

We know when we click and players are up for the fight we are hard to beat and that is all when can expect.

Unfortunately I agree, He never had a good game at Anfield since he has joined us. He shows glimpses in games against them but that's about the height of it. It's hard to leave him out too because his movement off the ball is incredible and he can cause any team in Europe massive problems and with Liverpool not at full strength at the back you would like to think he would get a lot of joy.

He was the clear man of the match on here last time we were at Anfield

Anyone think Pep may roll with a 3-5-2? We’ve got to try it sometime, Laporte is getting up to speed, KW can do a number on McNeil (their only outlet after long balls) allowing Joao to push on from the left, with Rodders shielding the back 3 from the short aerial attack, plenty of height & pace to hit them on the counter when they throw bodies forward at set pieces something like:-

Ederson
Stones Dias Laporte
Walker Cancelo
Rodri
Foden Gundogan
Sterling Jesus
