Burnley (A) Post Match Thread

So what is this magical threshold of clear and obvious that VAR assess needs to.be met?

Because there was clearly contact, and therefore obviously a refereeing error, that Had to be overturned.

Absolute fucking shitshow.

Great win, professional.

Who was playing where once Zinchenko came on, I couldnt keep track.

Manchester City are the first Premier League side since Arsenal in 2002 to win 13 consecutive matches in all competitions

Defence great again but worried about our front 3 notably Jesus and Sterling who both seem to need tap ins to score and offer very little else as a goal threat. How a PL player can miss as many one on ones as Sterling is baffling. Hopefully Kun is back soon
He should have squared to mahrez for a tap in was poor but a decent stop from the keeper, that had of been 0-0 at the time he’d have been hooked at half time..

They have to be in a position to score a tap in though...

Comfortable win for City.
No idea how VAR didn't award a penalty for the hack on Gab in the box 2nd half, what is going on with pens...Utd get them for blatant dives and we don't get them for blatant kicks. The Referees Association has some feckin explaining to do. Same teams getting the pens every bloody week.
Anyway, back to City.
Strong at the back again although Ederson lost the plot once or twice near the end.
Gundo ran things and looks our most dangerous player.
Raz was hit & miss (again)
Good performance from Mahrez
Rodri very good (again)
Come on Brighton.

Really good result against a negative team and negative manager . Sterling is struggling to get any form even though he gets a tap in and he should not be captain . Big game on Sunday but even if we don’t win it’s not the end of the world .

Very good performance - won without getting out of second gear.
Savage's commentary was very good - makes a nice change to be able to watch BT Sport without a scouse on the mike.
Having a stonewall penalty denied was annoying but we did not need it and maybe, if we make a fuss about it, then the same shit trick might not be tried at the weekend.

Superb team performance and everyone did their job. 13 on the bounce happy days

They scored and we won.

Walton is so bad I'm starting to think that they have him on just for a bit of a laugh.
Has he ever supported us in a decision? He seems to oppose us even in the most clear cut circumstances - they may as well give the gig to Aldridge - he would be more objective.
