992 - up from 831, 38.4% of North West Total which rose by by 263 to 2582. 2.6% rise on yesterday,
3 wks v 2 wks v last wk v Today:- 1765 v 1579 v 1097 v 992. Slow fall but falling.
Pop Score is cases across whole pandemic v 100,000 people - rises daily but lower the better.
Weekly Pop is same measure across last 7 days only. Can rise or fall depending on if more cases or less occur today v the same day last week.
Either way Up is bad, down is good.
Manchester 228 – up from 163. Total 46, 313. Weekly 1649. Pop score up 41 to 8377. Weekly Pop down 4 to 298. Finally out of the 300s sadly.
Bolton 153 - up from 75. Total cases 21, 935. Weekly 845. Pop score up 53 to 7628. Biggest rise in GM today. Weekly Pop up 25 to 294. Big week to week cases rise and in danger of topping the worst in GM tree again.
Salford 105 - down from 111. Total cases 19, 996. Weekly 716. Pop score up 40 to 7725. Weekly Pop down 9 to 276.
Stockport 92 -up from from 80. Total cases 17, 673. Weekly 707. Pop score up 31 to 6023. Last borough in GM leaves the 5000 club just for one day more. Weekly Pop down 6 to 241.
Wigan 91 - down from 105. First sub 100 here in weeks. Total cases 25, 264. Weekly 981. Pop score up 28 to 7687. Weekly Pop down 5 to 268.
Rochdale 82 - down from 81. Total cases 18, 403. Weekly 568. Pop score up 37 to 8274. Weekly Pop down 1 to 255.
Trafford 73 - up from 41. Total cases 14, 527. 11 days now sub 100. Weekly 503. Pop score up 30 to 6120. Picks up another 1 on Stockport's overall pop score lead cutting it to 97. Weekly Pop down 8 to 211. Best weekly Pop score in GM. Outperforming Stockport now and chasing that best overall Pop Score lead again.
Oldham 60 - up from 58. Total cases 20, 171. Weekly 531. Pop score up 25 to 8507. Weekly Pop down 14 to 224.
Tameside 55 – down from 67. Total cases 15, 497. Weekly 583. Pop score up 24 to 6842. Lowest pop score rise today. Weekly Pop down 21 to 257.
Bury 53- up from 48. Total cases 14, 961. Weekly 435. Lowest weekly total in GM. Pop score up 27 to 7833. Weekly Pop down 2 to 228.
For the first time in several weeks every GM borough is in the 200s with their weekly Pop Score so relatively well matched and doing much the same as one another as this measure shows smoothing out the cases per population of each borough. Lowest is best so - top to bottom - here they are:-

One day closer. Feel so sorry for all those people who have lost loved ones this last year earlier than they would have. All the kids impacted and those who have had jobs and income impacted. What a start to the 20s. I guess another 200 to 300k vaccinated though and early signs of it working so hopefully more positive news tommorow.
