I found the the whole team play a bit flat today, so it's nice to find four goals from such a day.

We seemed not to control the midfield as we have of late and most of the attack came down the wings.

I think that was because of their aggressive press in the middle, so we used the wings to get behind them more. I thought we struggled first half but controlled it more second half despite a lot of changes.

Not sure who the commentator is for this game, but his grasp of the English language is atrocious. My Italian friend worries that her English is not good enough, she should listen to that clown. He makes her sound upperclass.

His delivery is so slow and in a boring monotone drawl. He seems to have a very limited choice of vocabulary and is constantly repeating himself. Explained how Covid affected the WSL at least 4 times.

Saw all three Americans were selected for the She Believes Cup. Haven't gotten a chance to catch much of the women's team action over here, how's Lavelle looked since coming over? Was buzzing to see us sign her, I think she's the best young American talent right now.

Rose had an ankle injury and was not fit for a time after she signed. When has featured, she has been played out of her best position for the most part.

Here is a pretty good article, though a few months old, re: her time at City. I do think she has the talent to make an impact here. Just look at many other topics about players where people bang on "form is temporary and class is permanent. " I feel the same can be said about our Rose.
