If we’re going to get a result today we have to keep them scoreless for the first 30 mins. Of late that’s when their press loses its energy. Anywhere but Anfield I’d he confident of a result today. Hopefully no crowd helps us.

Our problem the last few seasons is we concede fro their first effort, usually from a midfielder whether it’s Oxlade Chamberlain, winaldum, Henderson or Fabinho. I’m fully prepared for Thiago or Curtis Jones to ping one in from 30 yards. Hopefully we’ve learnt that lesson today.

Watched the game last night til the scum went two up, stopped watching by way of depression, saw on my phone that you’d equalised, so started watching again, at which the scum immediately scored, I stayed with it until 92nd minute and gave up and stopped watching. Without me you equalised. Similar situation to when you drew 4 all there under Gollum, we went in to win the league that season due to your draw. I also think Tim Howard made a wonder save from Turdinhand (after I switched back on and nearly jinxed it!)

We are playing a different style of football at different level than has been seen in the PL.

Parking the bus and countering with a route one ball over the top is no longer a significant threat. Liverpools better players no longer have the young legs to keep running as before and their tactics have been found out.

On the other hand City are full of running with a significantly younger age of our top players. Pep knows. Klopp knows. The players know.

A City win for me if Pep plays to our strengths - officials and VAR permitting.
